Description: Cordys Process Factory (CPF) is a “Platform as a Service” product which allows users to develop applications on the net. It comes with a set of powerful building tools, which help in quick and easy development of specialized Mash up applications. The simple drag­and­drop technique is followed in all steps of application development such as building forms and processes, adding business logic, configuring workflow tasks, and integrating with other systems. CPF is developed on top of Business Operations Platform (BOP4)   Activities Performed–  

Following are the modules worked upon in this project:  

Module 1:  Google Apps (Spreadsheet, Google Drive, Google Calendars) integration using OAuth 2.0 authentication

Description: Google Apps i.e. google drive, google Calendars and Spreadsheets integration with CPF product provide functionality to allow data transfer from Google drive to applications objects in CPF and vice versa. User can access Google Drive via CPF, perform CRUD operations on spreadsheets and can insert as well as update data within the spreadsheets.  Using Google Calendars functionality, user can create new meetings, send mails to other users for invitations and can get all the information from other user's calendars account if they have shared it.  Implemented the google apps functionality using OAuth 2.0 to access the Google APIs. Using Google APIs implemented the Spreadsheets, drive and Calendars operations in CPF.  Module 2: Data Backup and Restore Description: Data Backup allows the user to take the backup of either Organization data or Application data and restore allows restoring the backed up data in the same / similar application. This is similar to System Restore. Implemented the functionality as Job Processing using Cordys BPM, Scheduler and Java                       Threads.  

Module 3: Enabling Browser Support for CPF Organizations

 

Description: This functionality was introduced in order to avoid users accessing CPF with                         

unsupported Browsers/ latest browser versions before getting approval from the                   Validation team. Developed a Cordys Gateway which checks the browser with which the user tries to                           access CPF and accordingly allowing him complete access or runtime access. Also                       developed a new gateway for Organization Administrators who can access CPF without                       logging in through External Applications if configured.

This software as a service (SaaS) platform contains a                         number of modular applications that can vary by instance and user. The project is to develop IT service management suite. The NSN IT SNOW is the ServiceNow                               IT Service Management Suite that is designed to help streamline IT operations. Incident management, Problem management, Service request fulfillment, CMDB and                 Reporting are the main modules in this project. 

   Activities Performed– ● Engage with client to understand requirements and propose possible solutions.  ● Create Workflow processes to take care of the functionality requested. ● Migrated data for Projects and Resources to ServiceNow from different resources. ● User Administrations. ● Code development using Business rules, client scripts, UI policy, UI actions. ● Modify ServiceNow objects to cater to the requirements.
