So, is my data Secure? Absolutely! We understand your data is very important and sensitive. Infact the data will be much more secure than one can provide for on their own. We do various things to ensure that your data is secure with us: Data Centre Based Hosting The Attune Kernel application is hosted in a secure Level 3 data center. The datacenters have multiple leased line internet connections, best in class firewall, secure servers, virus scanners to protect your data from attacks. 24/7 Proactive Monitoring The software, server, hard disks, firewalls and other critical parameters of the data centre infrastructure is monitored 24/7 proactively by dedicated highly qualified technical team with state of the art tools. This level monitoring helps us in spotting potential issues ahead of time for us to take corrective action. Authentication & Authorization Each user is provided a user id and passport based on which the system allows access to specific functionality and data. The users are not allowed to access information that they are supposed to access thus providing for granular control over data and functionality. The entire access control mechanism can be configured based on customer requirements. HTTPS Based wire encryption mechanism The data that is transferred between the data centre and client PC’s are encrypted using the HTTPS protocol to ensure that data transferred in the wire are also safe. Data Backup and Storage The data is stored in a secure clustered server with backup SAN capabilities. Daily incremental backup and weekly full backup of the entire database is taken. This allows us to restore data even in case of disasters. Anti-Virus The servers are upgraded on a regular basis with latest Anti-Virus software from leading Anti-Virus vendors to ensure that threat perception from viruses are significantly reduced. Apart from Anti-Virus software, the vulnerabilities of the operating systems are also reduced significantly by installing the latest security patches from Microsoft and other platform vendors. Microsoft Security Patches Microsoft release almost on a monthly basis security patches for its Server Operating System family. These security patches fix the vulnerability that some of the recently viruses would have created or exposed. These patches will be applied to the Server environment on a timely and regular basis so as to reduce the vulnerability of the system.
