School news this week…
We’d like to say a very big well done to our Year 6 pupils (and Mrs Wren, Mrs Lowe and Mrs Redpath too) who have been busy completing their end of Key Stage 2 SATs this week. Every-one has worked hard and tried their very best throughout this school year and now it’s time for some fun… Warner Brothers Studios and Rockley Residential Visit here they come…!
This week we were delighted to be chosen as the focus school for next week’s afternoon show with James Thomas on BBC Wiltshire Radio.
James visited us on Friday and spent time visiting classes and speaking to the children about their learning. We were a little disappointed that his busy schedule meant that he didn’t say more than a quick hello in Maple and Sycamore Classes but we are looking forward to listening in next week and hearing our very own Woodborough radio broadcasters.
If you’d like to listen too, James’s afternoon show is broadcast between 2 pm and 4 pm and our school slots should featured each day next week at 3.30 pm. If you’d like to listen later, you can find the broadcast at bbc.co.uk/wiltshire and search 1 hour and 30 minutes into the programme.
The week ahead…
