Details of location: We will be filming scenes for the broadcast in the Room 12 studio of Haydon school, outside the entrance of the RE Bar and on Eastcote high street.

Advantages of location:

The advantages of using Eastcote high street is that it is on the same street as the RE Bar meaning that we can gather interviews from the community and being that the whole high street has been affected then we can get a large variety of opinions.

The main advantage from filming outside the RE Bar would be that the viewers of the broadcast will see what the bar looks like, the bar in the background will act as a visual aid.

When filming in studio 12 there will be no background noise due to the room being empty and with no other sounds in the background, this will allow us to create the presenter scene properly and professionally.

Another advantage of using the outside of the RE bar to film is that we can get the shots of the flowers and the police that were outside the bar at the time.

Location considerations:

When filming the RE bar all ethical and moral decisions must be made and all respect should be taken when filming.

When we will get interviews from the public we must make sure that we are in a location that is not too busy so it’s too noisy but not to empty that there isn’t anyone to interview.

We must make sure we have booked out the room 12 studio. When we are filming we must make sure that the interviews are done

before or after the school rush hours, this precaution must be taken due to the younger years messing around when we are filming.

When filming outside we must look at the weather forecast to make sure that it will not be raining when we want to film.
