National Pool Lifeguard Courses 8th Edition

This course is aimed at people who want to work in the leisure industry or who support local clubs at the pool lifeguarding sessions. This is a worldwide professional recognised qualification

**** RLSS National Rescue Award for

Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC)

This course is aimed at anyone who teaches or coaches programmed swimming activities. Prospective swimming teachers would also benefit from this training course. You do not need any previous lifesaving experience to train for this award but you must confidently be able to swim 20 metres on your front and back and be able to learn a variety of skills.

Adult Lessons & Men’s Swim Fit Tuesday 6.30pm - 7.00pm (Lessons) Thursday 7.00pm - 8.00pm (Lessons ) Thursday 8.15pm - 9.15pm (Swim Fit) (All lessons are half hour each week of the course)

Lifesaving Society UK to promote water safety

messages and help reduce drowning.

About Us

Atlantis has provided swimming tuition from babies through to adults. Our Customers come from Hull and surrounding East Riding Villages. Established in 1997 over the years we have successfully developed our community Learn to Swim scheme and aquatic teaching programme. Atlantis has given thousands of children and adults the ability to learn to swim and enjoy the skills of swimming. We swim’s six days a week Monday to Thursday evenings and weekends Saturday or Sunday.

Staff Qualifications

All Atlantis Swimming Academy teachers are qualified, holding qualifications and certificates from the following teaching organisation’s A.S.A Teacher level 1 and 2, STA Teacher level 1 and 2 R.L.S.S Trainer Assessor Halliwick Teacher, Teachers Association of Swimming Therapy. All Atlantis teaching staff have a CRB check, to work with children. At Atlantis school of swimming we offer a wealth of experience in the provision of quality swimming tuition and aquatic skills.

Saturday 8.00am – 1.00pm

Class size up to 8 babies per group age related

8 half hour sessions one class each week

Children’s Lessons from 3yrs (With Helpers in the water)

WEEK NIGHTS

Monday 4.30pm - 6.00pm Tuesday 4.30pm - 6.00pm Wednesday 4.30pm - 6.00pm Thursday 4.30pm - 6.00pm

WEEKENDS

Saturday 11.30am - 2.15pm Sunday 9.30am- 1.00pm

Children to start will be introduced to water confidence, skills and movement, they will move on to the three basic swimming strokes and then onto full stroke development.

Lifesaving classes

Tuesday 6.00pm - 6.30pm

Lifesaving & Survival Learn Rescue Skills. Learn Life Support Skills Learn Water Safety Skills. And Have Lots Of Fun. (Children must be able to swim 50m front & 50m back)

ATLANTIS ROOKIE LIFEGUARD CLUB 1.

Thursday 6.00pm - 7.30pm

Want your children to be safe around the water?

This fun and educational club offers children the opportunity to learn life saving skills in a fun environment, w i t h f u l l y q u a l i f i ed i n s t r uc t o r s . The scheme is developed by the Royal Lifesaving Society UK, the leading provider for water safety education, rescue techniques

and resuscitation water safety games and much more.
