Safety Profile: 25(b) Exempt

Application Type: Granular Blanket Application

Performance: A chemical crabgrass pre-emergent will provide 90% control. Crabgrass Prevention with Lawn Food when used as directed will provide between 65 and 75% control. Factors such as excessive rain, mowing height and soil health will impact performance.

Crabgrass Prevention with Lawn Food will provide an initial fast green up and will slowly feed the turf for up to six weeks.

For lawns with bare spots Evolution Grass Seed is recommended to be used in combination with Crabgrass Prevention with Lawn Food.

When to Apply: Apply during the month of May.

Rates: Apply at a rate of five pounds per thousand square feet. For lawns with low crabgrass pressure the rate should be decreased to four pounds per thousand square feet.

EVOLUTION GRASS SEED

Overview: Grass seed blend thoughtfully designed specifically to be used in conjunction with a Branch Creek Lawn Care Program.

Safety Profile: Non - GMO/A-List Standards

Application Type: Granular

Performance: Evolution is blended with Paleo Seed Starter to provide germination in 10 to 14 days without using high phosphorus starter fertilizers. Evolution incorporates a variety of seed varieties and species designed to work in unison to crowd out weeds that would germinate in the soil and on the surface. At least 75% of the seeds in Evolution meet the standard set by the Alliance for Low Input Sustainable Turf (A-List®) as requiring less fertilizer and water.

When to Apply: Apply when daytime temperatures are consistently between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not apply within three months of a synthetic pre-emergent being applied. Evolution is recommended to be used in conjunction with Crabgrass Prevention with Lawn Food.

Rates: For over seeding apply Evolution at a rate of 2 pounds per 1,000 square feet. For new seeding or large areas with limited grass apply Evolution at a rate of 6 pounds per 1,000 square feet.

Overview: Grub Shield weakens the exoskeleton causing breaks in the body and interrupting the molting process of insects such as Grubs. Grub Shield drives target insects deeper into the soil and away from the root zone of the turf plant.

Performance: Chemical grub control products will provide 95% control. Performance data for Grub Shield is limited, but initial results would indicate grub control of between 70 and 80%.

When to Apply: Apply between June 15th and July 15th

Rates: Apply Grub Shield at a rate of 32 ounces per acre or .75 ounces per 1,000 square feet with a minimum water volume of 1 gallon per 1,000 square feet. Grub Shield must be watered in to reach the target insect.

Application Type: Liquid Spot-Treatment

Performance: Weed Shield is a slow acting herbicide. Allow between 14 and 21 days to see visible results. A chemical weed control will provide 90% control. When used as directed Weed Shield will provide between 55% and 65% control. For best results Weed Shield should be mixed with a non-ionic surfactant such as Volution Organic.

When to Apply: Weed Shield should be applied to actively growing small weeds when temperatures are between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Avoid using Weed Shield during periods of excessive drought. Further applications may be needed as new weeds germinate throughout the growing season. For how to control weeds a second application of Weed Shield is recommended 14 days after the initial treatment.

Rates: Apply as a spot treatment by mixing 10 ounces of Weed Shield with 1 gallon of water.
