Unlike other firms whose denim riding jeans directly ape High Street designs, these have been designed with actual motorcycling high on the agenda so these strides come with stretch panels on the inner thigh and more stretch material above the knee. I guess you could say they are more like a leather riding jean but rendered in heavy-duty denim backed up with crash resistant aramid fibres sewn into the seat area and CE-approved armour at the knee. What that adds up to on the road is legwear that feels comfortable yet offers decent freedom of movement from the word go. So far I haven’t needed to put their crash-beating qualities to the test but I’m confident they offer at least more protection than everyday denim. Six months of daily use and nothing has broken or worn. What’s not? The very fact they are designed with the ability to stretch means they’re not going to pass as a pair of 501s or similar and there’s also the perennial problem you get with denim riding jeans, which is that they are too thick and heavy to wear all day in the workplace without getting too hot (I have, however, worn them all day on the bike and all day at the MCN Festival Wolf TEC-ST Aramid Jeans, £129.99 Quality ★★★★Value ★★★★+ - Stretch panel design for comfort on the bike. What’s good? Unlike other firms whose denim riding

jeans directly ape High Street designs, these have been

designed with actual motorcycling high on the agenda

so these strides come with stretch panels on the inner

thigh and more stretch material above the knee. I guess

you could say they are more like a leather riding jean

ability to stretch means they’re not going to pass as a

problem you get with denim riding jeans, which is that
