Cast & Crew Biographies
B.J. Cleveland BOB BENNETI
B.J. made his professional stage debut at age 7 as the Street Urchin in the musical MR. SCROOGE at Casa Manana and is thrilled to revive that character, as well as a few others. This production was first presented by 1 :30 Productions last Christmas at the Bathhouse Cultural Center, and Jae Alder, after viewing, arranged to bring BJ and the show to Theatre Three.
BJ recently directed T3 productions of COTTON PATCH GOSPEL and THE LIAR, and starred in the 8 month run of SHEAR MADNESS in Theatre Too last year. He has also appeared in T3 productions of MIDLIFE: The Crisis Musical, BEDROOM FARCE, and THE 25th ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE. BJ has over 450 roles to his credit includ
ing hosting The Disney Afternoon on television for over a decade. He is a teaching artist for Dallas Children's Theater, associate artist with Uptown Players, 1 :30 Productions and Kids Who Care; served as Artistic Director of Theatre Arlington for 14 years, and received the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Live Theatre League. His productions of GODSPELL (Contemporary Theater) and ROMANCE IN D (Bathhouse Cultural Center) are running concurrently with this production.
Cathy O'Neal AEA STAGE MANAGER
Cathy makes her Theatre Too debut with this production after being a T3 and T2 fan for many years. She has been a stage manager for Uptown Players, Pegasus Theatre, Theatre Arlington, Circle Theatre, Kids Who Care and several Metroplex events, and has been on the stage management team twice for New York's Broadway Backwards, a fundraiser for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
