Accessing the Information Display

Information Displays

Consists of several displays that provide you with useful information.

To toggle between the differentdisplays, press and release theselect/reset knob repeatedly.

When you start the engine, thedisplay shows your last activeselection from the previous drivecycle.

What to Do

How It Works

TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS)

Monitors the vehicle’s tire pressures.

Each tire valve stem containsa TPMS sensor.

When the tire pressure dropssignificantly below recommendedlevels, the low tire pressureindicator comes on. NOTE: On vehicles with MID, amessage also appears on the display.

If the TPMS indicator appears, theremay be a problem with the system.See your dealer.

AUTO DOOR LOCKS Allows you to program how and when the vehicle doors automatically lock and unlock.

Default Lock/Unlock Setting

Default Lock SettingAll doors are preset to lock whenyour vehicle reaches about 9 mph.

Modifying the Auto Door Unlock Setting

Programmable Auto Door Lock/Unlock Settings Press either Info (�/�) button to toggle to the “Keyless Memory Settings” displayon the MID, then press SEL/RESET to activate the menu.

Below are the different programmable options you can choose. See Auto Door Lock-ing/Unlocking in your owner's manual for instructions on programming these settings. 1. Select “CHANGE SETTING.”

2. Select “DOOR-WINDOW SETUP.”

3. Select “AUTO DOOR UNLOCK.”

4 . Select “SHIFT TO P.”

5 . Select “ALL DOORS.”

6. Select “EXIT” to save the setting andexit the menu.

Modifying the Auto Door Unlock Setting

1. Close the driver’s door. Shift intoPark.

2. Turn the ignition to the ON (II)position.

4. Within 5 seconds, turn the ignition tothe LOCK (0) position.

3. Press and hold the unlock side ofthe master lock switch for about10 seconds. In that time, you willhear three clicks.

To program all doors to unlock when you shift to Park:

DRIVING POSITION MEMORY SYSTEM (DPMS)

Store a driver’s seat and mirror position into memory for each remote transmitter.

The HomeLink Universal Transceiver can be programmed to operate up to threeremote-controlled devices around your home, such as garage doors, lighting, or homesecurity systems.

Press and hold the button on the remote and the HomeLink button at the same time. Then, while continuing to hold the HomeLink button, press and release the button on the remote every 2 seconds.Does the LED blink at a faster rate within 20 seconds?

Training a Button

If you have any problems programming HomeLink, see the owner’s manual includedwith the device you are trying to program, call HomeLink at (800) 355-3515, orvisit www.homelink.com.

Note: Each group of settings is activated by the corresponding remote transmitter(1 or 2) when it’s used to unlock the driver’s door. When activated, each item beginsto adjust before you enter the vehicle.

How It Works

For added convenience, the area behind your vehicle is displayed to help you navigatewhile backing up.

Warns you of the proximity between your vehicle and nearby objects when parkingor in Reverse.

All models: Shift out of Reverse (R). Models without navigation: Press themonitor on/off button while inReverse with your foot on the brake.Press again to turn back on.

Turning the System On and Off

Press the parking sensor button. A light appears and a beep sounds when thesystem is on.

How It Works

When the system senses an object, an indicator appears in the MID and a beepsounds. As you get closer to an object, the beep rate increases.

NAVIGAT ION Real-time navigation system uses GPS and a map database to show your currentlocation and help guide you to a desired destination.

Entering a Destination

Using Voice ControlPress and release the Navi Talk button before you give a command.

Using the Find Nearest CommandTry these simple steps to find a nearby point of interest, such as a gas station,movie theater, restaurant, etc.

Press and release the Navi Talk button before you give a command.1. Say “Display menu,” then say“Address.”

2. Say “Street,” then say the streetname. Do not include the direc-tion (N, S, E, W) or type (St.,Ave., Blvd., etc.).

3. A list of street names appears.Say the number next to thestreet you want.

4. Say the entire street addressnumber. For example, “1-2-3-4.”

5. If the street address is in morethan one city, a list of city namesappears. Say the number next tothe city you want.

6. The system calculates the routeand displays the “Calculate routeto” screen. Say “OK” to set theroute.

2. A list of the nearest ATMs inyour area is displayed byshortest distance to destination.

2. Say “Call” or “Dial” and thedesired phone number.

Receiving a Call

4. The call is connected and heardthrough the vehicle’s speakers.

1. Enable “Discovery” or“Search” mode on yourBluetooth-compatible phone.

2. Say “Phone setup,” then say“Pair.”

3. HFL gives you a four-digitcode (that also appears onthe MID) and begins to searchfor your phone.

4. Search for a Bluetoothdevice from your phone, andconnect to HFL.

6. HFL asks you to name thephone. For example, say“Mary's phone.”

5. Enter the four-digit code onyour phone when prompted.

1. Open the center console, and pullout the USB adapter cable.

Press and release the Navi Talk button before you give a command.

Cellular Phonebook*

1. Say “Display Information.”

Import your entire cell phone's address book to the navigation system.

2. Say or select “Import CellularPhonebook.”

3. HFL begins to import yourcontacts to the system.

REAR ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM (RES) With the rear entertainment system (RES) and wireless headphones, the rearpassengers can enjoy a different entertainment source than the front seat occupants.

Operating the RES from the Front SeatRear Entertainment System

1. Press the REAR PWR button. Rearpassengers will hear audio throughthe wireless headphones.

3. Press the REAR SOURCE button tohear what is currently playing in the rear.

2. Press the REAR CTRL OFF buttonto disable the rear audio controls.

4. After selecting an entertainmentsource for the rear passengers, pressthe FRONT SOURCE button toreturn to the front audio controls.

Operating the RES from the Rear SeatRES Front Panel Controls

3. Use the (�) (�) (�) (�) buttons tonavigate the menu on the display. Pressthe ENT button to select a function.

2. Press AM/FM, XM, CD, or DVD/AUXto make a selection.

4. The rear control panel can be detachedand used as a remote control. Pressthe RELEASE button to remove it fromthe ceiling.

Always useMMT-free gasoline if available. Failures caused by use of gasoline containing MMT maynot be covered under warranty.
