And the award goes to…..

Senior Helpers of the Central Coast announced that it has been awarded with Home Care Pulse's "2014 Best of Home Care" distinction. This is the second year in a row that Senior Helpers has been recognized as one of the best. Awarded to the top 50% of agencies in client and employee satisfaction scores from Home Care Pulse, Senior Helpers of the Central Coast is now ranked among a select few of the best agencies in the United States. "We know that sometimes it is difficult to make care decisions when you don't have specific experience with an agency. It was our goal to provide families with the ability to make an informed decision, have tangible ways to measure quality and help them find a comfort level when choosing an agency to work with," commented Aaron Marcum, founder of Home Care Pulse. Husband and wife owners, Richard Snouffer and Lark Ireland, were thrilled to share this news with their staff. "Our caregivers and internal staff are integral parts to our organization as well as helping us achieve this prestigious award," remarked Ireland. "Our respect and compassion for each other's responsibilities and duties mirror how we feel about our clients." Selection Process - Many factors are determined in the selection process for the "Best of Home Care" award including the evaluation of client and employee satisfaction in areas such as agency training, communication, overall quality of care, caregiver performance, caregiver morale, response to problems and recommendation of services to name a few. About Senior Helpers - Senior Helpers is dedicated to helping individuals and families living on the Central Coast. Specializing in dementia and Alzheimer's care and using the unique Senior Gems program, Senior Gems focuses on what those with dementia can do, instead of what they cannot do. Visit www.seniorhelpers.com/sanluisobispo or call the office at 461-5892 to learn more about their services.
