ATA’s Stamp Show Board
-Use the picture of the finished board as a guide to setting things up. -Start by using a three-sided project board. It can be white or colored. -The headings should be cut out- decorative scissors would add a little flair to the board. -Double-sided tape might work best for attaching the pages. -The main heading, A TREASURE TROVE OF TOPICS, (two pages) should be taped/glued side by side. -The headings, as well as the sheets, could also be taped/glued to colored paper. -Before attaching everything to the board, you might consider adding a border, like the kind used on bulletin boards. -If you find a plain colored border, stamps could be glued on or you could cut stamp images from old catalogs. -Pages 18-21 are bookmarks that can be printed on cardstock and handed out -Page 22 could be copied, cut into fourths and handed out -Page 23 could be used as a mini-poster

• Topical collecting is the collection of stamps by subject or design (and not for the country that issues them).
• Almost any subject that interests you can be found on stamps. For example: animals, butterflies, trains, space, even cartoon characters!
• Other stamp-related (philatelic) material that depicts your topic or theme can be collected. Examples: first day covers, cancellation and postmarks, souvenir sheets, booklet panes, and many other items.
