Fix, the detective follows Fogg allover world.

He believes that Fogg is the bankrobber who has robbed a great sumfrom the bank of England.

He puts obstacles in Foggs path justso that he can arrest him wheneverhe gets the warrant from England.

    Passepartout too wonders whether

his master might be a robber thoughin his heart he has ample trust inFoggs integrity.

1Phileas Fogg is very particularabout time. He timed his life by aclock. There was a strange clock ina corner of the room. It showed

the hours, the minutes, theseconds, the days, the months andthe years.

    1

2Every minute counts. A train ismissed because of being late. TheChina, the steamer bound forLiverpool, had left just forty-fiveminutes before!

    14

3Even a few minutes, an hour or aday earlier can make a difference.To-tomorrow is Sunday!...Phileas

Fogg had fifteen minutes to reachthe Reform Club.

    LEISURE byWilliam Henry Davies

What is this life if, full of care,We have no time to stand and stare.

No time to stand beneath the boughsAnd stare as long as sheep or cows.

No time to see, when woods we pass,Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.

No time to see, in broad daylight,Streams full of stars, like skies at night.

No time to turn at Beauty's glance,And watch her feet, how they can dance.

No time to wait till her mouth canEnrich that smile her eyes began.

A poor life this is if, full of care,We have no time to stand and stare.

Man not having time or making time to enjoy natureWhat life is if we lead hurries lives all the timeHave too much work and make no time to enjoy thelittle things around us.

    Quality of life is poor.

Should spend our free time enjoying andappreciating the beauty of nature.

Nature is portrayed as a beautiful dancing lady withsmiling eyes who then breaks into a smile.
