Preposition

A preposition is a word invariable which connects a noun or pronoun complement (ie a different name, a verb or a noun).Example: to, among, around, ...".

Une préposition est un mot invariable qui relie un nom ou un pronom à un complément (c'est à dire un autre nom, un verbe, ou un groupe nominal).

Exemple: jusqu'à, entre, vers, ...".

Preposition Of Place

Prepositions of place says where the person or thing is, or the direction they are moving in.

Preposition of Place: above, below, beside, behind

Above : in or to a higher position than something else.

Ci-dessus: à l'intérieur ou à une position plus élevée que quelque chose d'autre.

Below : in or to a lower position than something.

Ci-dessous: dans ou à une position inférieure à quelque chose.

Beside : at the side of, next to.

À côté: du côté de, à côté.

Behind: at or to the back of someone or something.
