Fully supervised by qualified staff, the Kids For All Seasons program is offered daily from 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. An optional lunch is ordered from In-Room Dining and may be charged to your room. Children can experience a range of activities, including marine-life explorations, Hawaiian arts and crafts, volcanic eruptions, basketball, hula and more. Optional canoe paddling and tennis are also offered throughout the week and charged to your room. The program is complimentary for Resort guests and homeowners. Explore King’s Pond, the 1.8-million gallon “aquarium” built into the lava rock, and home to 4,000 fish from 98 different species. King’s Pond is connected to the ocean through the groundwater table, and is a blend of sea and fresh water, without currents, waves or non-friendly fish. Guests can explore at their own comfort level, anywhere from 10-feet deep to the floor of King’s Pond, taking in an incredible perspective, while effortlessly breathing underwater without having to bother with bulky diving gear. This 20 to 30 minute guided experience is preceded by a short introduction to SNUBA, and is available to guests eight years and older.
