FIND THE PERFECT FIT
For Renin Broadnax (‘20), Cabrini was perfect—big enough to
discover lots of opportunities, small enough to get involved and be
a leader. On campus, Renin is a Catholic Relief Services ambassador,
a Classroom Coach for the course Introduction to Black Studies, an
Orientation Leader, men’s tennis teammate, editor for the student-
run media The Loquitur, DJ for Cavalier Radio 89.1 WYBF-FM, and a
student ambassador in the Admissions Office.

LEARN WITH PURPOSE | cabrini.edu/apply20
A Cabrini education goes beyond the classroom. Here, you get to think outside of the box, applying what you’ve learned to real-world problems. Turn knowledge into action to conduct fitness and wellness assessments, boost awareness about hunger in America, research immunology in earthworms and apply it to cures for disease in humans, or build houses and safe stoves along with the Mayan people in Guatemala.
Whatever you want to study, whether it’s biology or education, finance or communication, you’ll apply new ideas, build skills, and get career-ready at Cabrini—and you’ll have fun doing it.
Students collaborate with faculty on serious research projects so often that we run a campuswide Academic Symposium to showcase all of the work. You’ll find opportunities in every major and discipline. That experience pays off in what you’ll learn about research, discovery, and presentation, and in the scholarships and acceptances you’ll be more likely to receive from premier graduate programs.

MARIA KHAN (’21) | BIOLOGY AND PRE-MEDICINE MAJOR | PAKISTAN
When I started as a new student, I worked in the lab with my professor one-on-one, but I’ve learned so much and gained the confidence to work independently. That transformation happened because of the opportunities and supportive community at Cabrini.”
MARIA DOES. Growing up in Pakistan, Maria Khan (’21) did not expect to attend college. She came to the U.S. in seventh grade and didn’t speak English. Now a Cabrini Dean’s List student and member of the Honors program and Biology Honors Society, she’s preparing for medical school and, ultimately, a career as a cardiologist by making the most of Cabrini’s many research opportunities.

INTERNSHIP PLACEMENTSCabrini students have interned at places such as:
EXTRAORDINARY EXPERIENCES.
EXTRAORDINARY ADVANTAGES.
On-campus leadership opportunities
helped me step out of my comfort
zone and challenge myself.
Internships gave me real-world,
hands-on experience. But what
makes me successful in my role
every day is the ability to think
critically, to challenge respectfully,
to solve problems, and to bring
people together to work toward a
common goal. I owe all of those
skills to my Cabrini experience.”

OF CABRINI STUDENTS RECEIVE FINANCIAL AID
AVERAGE CABRINI AWARD BEFORE FEDERAL/STATE GRANTS AND LOANS
We offer aid in the form of merit
scholarships for high school academic
performance, SAT/ACT scores, and
extracurricular activities, in addition to
need-based aid depending on each
family’s financial situation. But financial
aid is just one of the ways we make
Cabrini affordable. We offer
opportunities for students to earn their
degree faster—high school students can
take college-level courses while they’re
juniors or seniors in high school, and
students in some of our joint programs
can shave a year off their studies while
taking classes toward a graduate degree.
TEST-OPTIONAL ADMISSIONSWe don’t require SAT and ACT scores when you apply for most programs. We take a holistic approach—we want to find students who are the best fit for Cabrini. That’s why we consider your high school academics, your personal statement, other information about your experience, and a possible interview. (And you can always submit your scores if you want.)
