Introduction
Assure Model is one of the strategies that consist of various aspects that teacher
needs to take into consideration when planning a lesson. he si! "ain aspects in
Assure Model are anal#$e the learners% characteristics& state o'(ectives for the
lesson& select& "odif# or design good "aterials that can 'e used in the lesson&
utili$e the "aterials& re)uire learner response and lastl# is the evaluation for the
lesson on that da#. It is good for a teacher to use Assure Model as their reference
in planning a good lesson to the pupils in the class.
Step 1 : Analyse Learner Characteristics
*eneral +haracteristics,
he lesson that will 'e conducted is designed for -ear pupils. he class has /
students who are fro" di0erent fa"il# 'ackgrounds. Di0erent 'ackgrounds here
"eans the# are fro" di0erent religion& ethnic and their education 'efore
entering school. Due to it& during 'rainstor"ing process with "# partner& i take
full consideration a'out those aspects that "ight 'e rose up while selecting the
"aterials. 1e also considered it while selecting the topic. 2o& here we choose to
teach a'out vegeta'les that clearl# will not a0ect the" either fro" religion or
ethnic aspect. Ne!t& 'ased on standardi$ed tests that had 'een conducted& their
perfor"ance levels are at inter"ediate level. 2o& to "ake sure the learning is
s"ooth& we use si"ple voca'ular# that eas# for the" to understand.

a'out the topic that we are going to teach. 2o"e of the" "ight ac)uire itthrough visual aspect '# seeing those kinds of vegeta'les on television or
e!perience it with following their parents to the "arket. In addition& nowada#s&
technolog# is 'eco"e salient and 'etter #ear '# #ear. he# can get all of the
infor"ation with a click. Nevertheless& the sche"ata that the# have is short ter"
"e"or# onl#. It is 'ecause& it was not i"portant things for the". 3or e!a"ple&
one da#& Ali follow his grandfather to the far" to pluck the vegeta'les and at the
far"& his grandfather introduces to hi" "an# t#pes of vegeta'les. Ma#'e during
the process of plucking the vegeta'les& Ali still re"e"'er those na"es and after

na"e to "ake the" know and a'le to di0erentiate those vegeta'les. In the
slides& there4s also a set of )uestion which the pupils need to "atch the
vegeta'les4 na"e with the correct o'(ect.
5earning 2t#les,
he "a(orit# of the pupils are visual and auditor# learners. he# learn 'etter
through the use of visual aids and interactive software or "ulti"edia sources

he teacher will listen to the clip ensuring that video is working and the audio is
clear. he teacher will also ensure that the speakers are working as well. he
teacher will test the overhead pro(ector and the co"puter ensuring theirco"pati'ilit#. Before 'egin to teach& teacher will run and check the presentation
whether it work s"oothl# and connected to the right h#perlink as well as to
ensure the arrange"ent of the slides is in the correct order.

he teacher will set up the co"puter and overhead pro(ector 'efore the class
started. hese e)uip"ents will then 'e turned on and tested to see whether it is
working or not.

he seating arrange"ent will 'e taken into consideration to ensure all students
will have a clear view of the pro(ection.he speakers will 'e place in an area
where all the students will 'e a'le to hear the stor# clearl#.

lesson and checking their understanding of the topic.

; he teacher can evaluate pupils '# using for"ative and su""ative
assess"ent. 3or"ative assess"ent will help the" identif# their strengths and
weaknesses and target areas that need work and help teacher recogni$e where
pupils are struggling and address pro'le"s i""ediatel#. 2o our )uestion that in
for" of "ultiple choice )uestion that re)uired students to choose correct spelling
coincide with our o'(ective to help the" in pronunciation. Ne!t& teacher can use
su""ative assess"ent. he goal of su""ative assess"ent is to evaluate
student learning at the end of an instructional unit '# co"paring it against so"e
standard or 'ench"ark. Infor"ation fro" su""ative assess"ents can 'e used
for"ativel# when student and teacher use it to guide their e0orts and activities
in su'se)uent courses.
Conclusion
As a conclusion& it is ver# 'ene=ts to teachers when the# used the Assure Model
in planning their lesson. All of these si! "ain strategies will help the" to co"e
out with good lesson that can suit the need of their pupils and at the sa"e ti"e
"ake the lesson success. Brie>#& this "odel is ver# useful for a teacher to
control the class as well as to "anage their ti"e well and "ake the lesson
'eco"e "ore "eaningful and purposeful to the pupils.
