Welcome and thank you for taking time away from the dock. My name is Kym Dove and I work in the IT departmentWe are going to review how to obtain weekly signatures from associates using the handheld and how to use the handheld to scan associates badge.

Background: These instructions assume that an associate currently uses Motorola 6500 with PRP handheld to enter loads, time, safety observations, damage tracking, or service entries.
Daily the associate must clock in and out must occur on the same handheld. If the associate does works in a different area and must clock out or in, then the site will contact the person with the handheld and request the associate is clocked out or in.
Seven sites participated in beta site testing using weekly signatures and associate badge scanning. There sites contained 5 to 57 associates with multiple docks and docks that were not in the same location.Sites were trained one day and started obtaining weekly signatures and badges scanning on the second day first and second shifts. There was a site that had a computer issue and did not have labels and began to day two.
Sites shared it was easy to begin using with 30 minutes training for leads and 30 minutes to setup local warehouse. If associates come in on one dock, check out on one dock, or using a handheld on each dock as clock.

After you sync handheld to the desktop you cannot use the handheld to make additional clock entries for the day. Additional Closk must occur on the desktop.
On every Tuesday, make sure that you have the most current weekly time record. Settings / Historical Time Updates. If you close PRP every day this will be done automatically.
