To review and practice describing a room using there is /are,

adjectives, and related vocabulary.

To practice browsing the Internet in search of a hotel room.

1. Think about five cities in the United States or Canada that you would like

to visit in the future. Complete the following chart. Follow the example.

five cities. Choose one hotel per city. Copy a picture of a hotel room in that

hotel and describe it in detail. Use the grammar and vocabulary we havestudied in Unit 9 (there is / there are, furniture, etc.). Use different

adjectives to describe the hotel room (amazing, quiet, modern, etc.).
