3. In the Answer Formula box enter the mathematical expression used to

find the correct answer

Click Next

4. In Define Variables, enter the Minimum value and the Maximum value for each variable, and number of Decimal Places

5. In the Answer Set Options section, choose Significant Figures from the Calculate Answers To drop-down list, and the number of significant figures. You can also choose the number of Answer Sets and the Correct Answer Format (Normal or Exponential)

6. Click Next

7. You can Edit Answer Sets or Remove some

8. Click Submit. The question appears in the Test Canvas, with Precision in Significant Figures stated.
