We develop faith, learning and culture
St Bernard’s College
LEVEL 2
80 credits of which 20 can come from NCEA Level 1, and a minimum of 60 credits at NCEA
Level 2 or higher. Students must also have the Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy requirements.
NCEA Level 2 Endorsement with Merit = 50 credits at Excellence or Merit
NCEA Level 2 Endorsement with Excellence = 50 credits at Excellence
Course Endorsement: Each subject may be available for a course endorsement. You can get a subject endorsed with
Merit or endorsed with Excellence. To get an endorsed certificate the course must be
structured in such a way that at least 3 of the 14 credits must be from internally assessed
standards, and 3 from external assessment. To gain a subject endorsement you need at least 14
credits or above at Merit or Excellence.
