Welcome to the album !!!

This photo album is to introduce the unit “Hands on Animation” where you will be learning about how you can make a career by developing skills in animation. Moreover, you will get to make movies of your own stories by using Paint and PowerPoint. Finally, you will learn about user interface and get to make the game show “Who wants to be a millionaire?” which is an example for user interface.

It is a Paper and Pencil assessment for writing short answers to the following questions

Diagnostic assessment prior to learning job opportunities

What extra resources do you have to complete your homework due to the introduction of Computers?

Write 2 ways in which Computers have made an impact on day to day operations in the following: Hospital, Bursar’s office in a School, and in one of your parent’s office/business.

Explain how Computers contributed to an advertisement that you have seen recently on TV.

You draw a picture of a boy or a girl in small size on the first paper in a sticky note pad and the same picture needs to be drawn in 10 different sizes, increasing gradually on every paper. Finally you need to flip the papers to see that the boy or the girl is growing.

Ongoing classroom assessments

You would need to make a movie for humpty-dumpty that the humpty-dumpty claims on a wall through a ladder, then walks on the wall, then falls down from the edge.

You would also need to make a movie for a clash between a car and an animal

At the start of every learning goal, you will be writing what you already know about it and what you want to learn about it. The last column will be left to do at the end of every learning goal to write what you have learnt through the learning goal.

Who wants to be a Millionaire? – Students make this interactive game show with the help of the features such as objects, animation, hyperlink and the other tools of MS PowerPoint. They make this show for at least 15 questions with price money for every question and the help lines such as 50-50, phone a friend, and audience vote.
