Assembly Value Stream MappingAll the data gathered by the team was attached to this 10 foot long brown paper map. Ribbons were used to connect the data collected to the appropriate place on the production floor blue print. Sticky notes were used to account for raw materials: vendor, amounts and OSI storage.

Assembly Value Stream MappingTools like brainstorming were used to find possible new solutions. Each solution was then prioritized as a future Kaizen event, 5S, TPM or PQI project.These events will be taking place during the next 12 months.

H13 Assembly Value Stream MappingDaily communication with the H13 Production Floor was a high priority for this Kaizen Team.A recap was posted onto the department bulletin board as well as a notation on the Inter-Shift Communication Board.This daily communication effort positively impacted shop floor feedback and helped with associate buy-in.
