own. The Oceania Sportfishing Club Syndication program is creating a series of Club Fishing
Bases around Australia and the South Pacific where you can fish aboard legendary boats with
your own Gamefishing Captain to put you on the fish and look after your dream boat.
A share in a custom 39ft Sportfisher for only $74,500.00 plus ongoings
Welcome to the Oceania Sportfishing Club Sportfisher Syndication
Owning and the dream of fishing on board an Assegai is now within reach. And it is affordable by
sharing the costs of buying and running one of these famed boats with 12 other owners through
the Oceania Sportfishing Club Sportfisher Syndication. Benefits of the Syndication Program
include your own professional Game Fishing Captain, access to professional deckhands, a
maintenance program to ensure your boat is ready to fish and your boat fitted out with some of
the world’s best fishing tackle. You simply walk on, fish and walk off. Everything is taken of.
The Syndication Program
Each owner is allocated 25 days exclusive use of the boat, with the option of additional stand-by
days, booked through the Syndicate Concierge. You choose when you wish to fish with an equal
share of days allocated during each booking period. Unique to the program, you fish with a
professional Game Fishing Captain and have the option of having a professional deckhand on
board. The only extras you pay each day is fuel, crew fees and provisions. The Syndicate
operates for a period of three (3) years, after which the boat is sold and proceeds after costs
distributed to owners.
Our Syndication program allows you to form a Team of up to 6 friends to share in each equity
share. Making owning an Assegai a very attractive alternative to owning a smaller trailer boat.
Oceania Sportfishing Club Membership
As a Syndicate Owner you receive Life Membership to the Oceania Sportfishing Club, entitling
you to entry in the annual Oceania Sportfish Challenge and many Membership privileges.
Customised Syndication
Oceania Sportfishing Club can establish a customised Syndication for you. Choose between 2
and 4 owners, boat upgrades, the option of the boat built in Survey and a managed charter
program put in place to reduce your annual operating costs, or establish seasonal ports to fish
tournaments and locations such as Cairns and Southern Great Barrier Reef.
Assegai First Program
Oceania Sportfishing Club Syndication invites potential owners to consider becoming part of the
Assegai First Program. As a member of the Assegai First Program you are the initial owner of the
boat, securing the boat’s build and paying the factory price for the boat. Oceania Sportfishing
Club Syndication then enters into an agreement with you to Syndicate and Manage the boat. You
choose to own one or more shares in the boat. As each remaining share is sold, your guarantees
are reduced and you receive the five (5) percent dealer mark-up. In addition, once the
Syndication is complete, you receive an additional 10 days per year use of the boat. Depending
on your circumstances, building and selling these amazing Syndicated Assegais could be the
prefect business opportunity.
Designed by Barry Martin as the prefect sport
fishing day boat, the Assegai 39 Express is
hand crafted in the tradition of an Assegai
custom Sportfisher.
Each Assegai hull is constructed by hand using
strip plank western red cedar, inside a female
construction case, then fibre glassed inside
and out using ultra strong epoxy resin; while
the deck and cabin is moulded in one piece.
Creating a boat unsurpassed for its strength,
craftsmanship and seaworthiness.
