New FM Hiring Matrix – 4+ years ago CFAs discussed and made recommendations Approved by: FM, ASD, 309th, 75th ABW Briefed the Matrix to all FM personnel

Results were beginning to show… Individual matrix scores were increasing More FM folks getting degrees, APDP, training, PME,

certifications, etc.

Updated the FM Hiring Matrix – this Fall CFAs reviewed and made changes Approved by: FM, ASD, 309th, 75th ABW, ICBM, GLSC In the process of making changes…

However…5 Center Construct changed everything

•Know the Duties of the Job Do your homework – on the position Know “the rules” of the Interview

Interview Tips… Prepare, Prepare, Prepare Dress appropriately and arrive a little early Try to relax…eat on time, drink some water Treat this like a game…

Time management• Prepare quickly for each question – write stuff down (3-5 min. per)• In Interview - allocate time for each question (3-5 min. per)• Ask for a 2 min. warning

Answer the questions…PLEASE Be sure to answer each part of the question

•Then, if time…add in related scenarios that you prepared Toot your own horn - use “I” rather than “we” End STRONG – “Why hire me” (last 2 min.)
