Sport and Development Policy in Africa – Results of a collaborative study of selected country casesThis book by Marion Keim and Christo de Coning (Eds.), published by SUN MeDIA Stellenbosch, provides a strategic overview of sport and sport development in eleven African countries. According to Fikile Mbalula, Minister of Sport and Recreation in South Africa, the book will assist African countries in establishing evidence-based monitoring and evaluation systems, thereby providing a foundation for developing a Global Policy Index in the future.
Genres of Critique – Law, Aesthetics and Liminality This publication by Karin van Marle and Stewart Motha (Eds.) was launched on 8 April as part of the esteemed STIAS series of research publications being published by SUN MeDIA Stellenbosch. The book seeks to open and explore the liminal space of critique at the intersection of law, aesthetics and politics. The essays develop an approach to critical legal thinking that is conscious of critique as a problem of genre, and seek to open up this problem in the context of critical legal studies.
