Ashlynn Brooke (born August 14, 1985) is a formerAmerican pornographic actress,[3] feature dancer, andmodel.

1 Early life

Brooke was born in Choctaw, Oklahoma.[1] She wasa cheerleader for nine years, and graduated from highschool in May 2003.[4] Prior to becoming an adult filmactress in 2006, she worked at a used car dealership nearOklahoma City for over three years.[5] Brooke has statedthat she is “genuinely bisexual”.[6]

2 Career

Brooke’s first foray into adult entertainment was a pho-toshoot for an Oklahoma-based magazine. She soon af-ter worked briefly as a stripper.[4] She became an exclu-sive contract performer with New Sensations / Digital Sinin 2007,[5] and in 2009 made her directing debut withAshlynn Brooke’s Lesbian Fantasies.[7] She has cameos inBuckcherry's "Too Drunk..." music video and the horrorfilm Piranha 3D.[8]

In 2010, Brooke retired as a pornstar after giving birthto her child. She posted on her Twitter profile and blog,introducing herself as “Ashley. Formerly known as Ash-lynn Brooke” and stating that she had retired from thebusiness and that her former website would no longer beupdated.[9]

Brooke stated that she then briefly became involved withstarring in and producing female-only pornography, butthat being the girl who “tries to direct all-girl features,but isn’t a 'real' lesbian” wasn't working. On her preg-nancy, Brooke stated that she “would never have a childand continue” in the industry but that she was already“done before finding out about” it. Brooke stated thatafter the birth of her child, “nothing on earth could’vemade me happier at that very moment. It was like Godjust reached down and literally removed me from 'thatworld' and put me back into the 'real' one. I knew thatfrom that point on my life would be peaceful, happy, andfull of love again!"[10]

In 2011, CNBC named her as one of the 12 most popu-lar stars in porn. CNBC noted her role in Piranha 3D asincreasing interest in her earlier porn films, and her cur-rent focus on directing, including porn parody versions of

Little Red Riding Hood and Wonder Woman.[11]
