An Athlete’s Story
Our Saturday ride had two groups with 50 riders in the A group and 20 riders in the B group. We raised $1000, and are now able to purchase DJ's airline tickets to California. Carson City Velodrome in November! We all hope that he comes back as a National Champion. He certainly deserves it for all of his hard work this past year. Also a special shout out to Kirk and Curt who gave us those lovely hand pushes up some of the hills. Thanks also to Shawn for the Moto escort. Perfect weather and perfect camaraderie. You Loneriders rock!! DJ is so excited about joining your team next year and looking forward to making new friends. I will look forward to re-meeting some of you older Masters. Thanks again on behalf of myself & DJ for helping to make our fundraiser a complete success. We also thank you for supporting our very special sponsor, TLC for Bikes in Lafayette Village. Also a generous thank you to our other sponsors; Raising Cane, Alexander YMCA, Bridge2Sports, and Stacy Miller of Berger & Miller Law Firm. Chazz Walker, DJ Robinson, Team Tandemonium, Raleigh, NC
