& Art Show Save the Date!& Art Show Save the Date!& Art Show Save the Date!& Art Show Save the Date!

This year’s Market Day and Art Show will be held on Saturday, November

10th from 10:00am—2:00pm. We are now accepting applications for Market

Stalls. In the sustainable spirit of the school we are looking for stalls that

feature handmade items, repurposed or recycled vintage goods, items that

have a positive environmental impact and are of high quality. Most

importantly we are not a trash and treasure market (although we will have a

pre-loved goods stall this year see below) and reserve the right to refuse

stalls that would fit better in another market atmosphere. Applications are

available from the office, on the Friends of Ashby Blog

(www.friendsofashby.blogspot.com) or by emailing

[email protected].

In addition to Market Stalls and the Art Show, we will also have a variety of

food stalls, activities for children and a school run bake stall and a pre-loved

goods stall (new this year). We are looking for time and talent in a variety of

areas. If you are interested in helping with any of the following areas please

let Tracy Raby know (via email [email protected]):

Marketing and Promotion—we are looking for anyone who might have

some printing contacts that might help us getting our marketing materials

(posters, flyers etc.) printed pro bono or at a reduced cost.

Music—we are hoping to have live music/and or buskers at this year’s event.

If you are a musician, have a group or know of groups that might want to play

at the event, please contact us.

Possible Market Stalls or Food Stalls—if you know of people or

organizations that might fit with what we are looking for please feel free to

share the stall application, or pass their contact information on to us. We are

especially keen to secure some additional food stalls.

We are looking forward to another wonderful event. And don’t forget, ALL

proceeds will benefits the School’s Visual and Performing Arts programs!
