Support for Cisco™ IPSEC Client- Saves organizations invested in this client from having to redeploy and

re-educate their users.- Further eases Cisco appliance replacements with ASG.- Allows for IPSEC support of the iPhone OS 2.0+

Availability Network Groups- Group objects together in a prioritized, match-once list.- Adds redundancy options to many areas of ASG, like authentication

servers and VPN configurations.- Health of objects in these groups uses new auto-monitor system

DynDNS Tweaks- Current DynDNS status is now displayed in WebAdmin.- Manage DynDNS on multiple interfaces, allowing for excellent

integration with WAN Link Balancing.


Additional New FeaturesAuthentication Improvements

Authentication “Test User” Extended- Using WebAdmin, a user tested against a backend server will now

return the group memberships, allowing admins to troubleshoot and test much easier.

Windows Server 2008 Native Mode Support

Event-Based eDirectory Synchronization- Allows AxG to receive logon/logoff updates from an eDirectory server

instead of polling for them, increasing speed and reducing load.

Disable Users- User objects can now be toggled “off” instead of deleted.- Allows for testing, and lets administrators toggle certain accesses

without having to re-input the configuration each time.


Other Additions & ChangesIncreased Functionality

Customizable URL Category Groupings- Add/delete/rename category buckets as needed, beyond the previous

limit of eighteen

VDSL Support- Support of Very High Bitrate DSL lines (PPPoE over VLANs)

Fully Transparent HTTP Proxy- Preserves client IP addresses as they pass through the proxy- Allows for upstream tracking, reporting, & control of proxy users

Disable Users- User objects can now be toggled “off” instead of deleted.
