Meeting Background:

The ASCO Research Community Forum Annual Meeting provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity for physician investigators and research staff, particularly those from community-based sites, to:

• Network and collaborate with community-based colleagues from all types of research programs,• Share best practices around effectively conducting and managing clinical research, and• Discuss barriers and identify solutions to common challenges with conducting and managing

clinical trials.

Registration includes the option to attend the training workshop (includes lunch), town hall, and the evening networking reception (includes heavy hors d’oeuvres), participation in the general sessions (includes breakfast and lunch), and online access to meeting materials, presentations, and resources. Participants are responsible for all travel and hotel arrangements and expenses.

Travel Information:

Reagan-National Airport (DCA) is the closest airport to ASCO Headquarters (about 20 minutes driving), and Dulles International (IAD) is approximately 35 minutes away. Baltimore-Washington International is about an hour away, but we typically do not recommend this option if others are available, due to significant traffic in the area at most hours of the day.

Closest Metro Station: Eisenhower Avenue is about a 10 minute walk to/from ASCO Headquarters. The yellow line is accessible directly from Reagan-National Airport. Note: The yellow line is scheduled to remain closed for station platform repair from May 25, 2019 to September 8, 2019.

Driving directions are attached. There is paid parking available in the PMI garage. The entrance to the parking garage is on 206 Swamp Fox Road, located by the AMC Theater. A map is attached for reference.
