Dillon Gussis claims they met as 8 year olds on the soccer fi eld. Kari Jo Kennedy insists their fi rst meeting was in ninth grade,

as she recalls being dumped by Dillon after just one date. Somehow, they reconnected in college

over sushi. Ten months later, overlooking Lady Bird Lake and enjoying Champagne at

the Four Seasons, the couple fl ipped through a scrapbook of memories. The last page, with a photo of the resort, read: Let’s make one more memory. By the time Kerri had read the words, Dillon was already on bended knee. Kari Jo and

Dillon married June 20, 2009 at the Ritz-Carlton. A date they’ll never forget.
