As Raised Edge Incorporated, expands and grows, it becomes increasingly necessary for the company

to rely on our graphic branding for the “street-level” brand recognition via the public at large.

In order to facilitate the proper recognition, we need to maintain proper control over our branding and its

graphical elements. To this end, we implement our brand standards ensuring we are represented in a

professional and consistent manner that reflects the core ideology of our company.

1. The Logos...All published instances of Raised Edge Incorporated information, regardless of media type, are considered our corporate communications properties. All communications materials pertaining to Raised Edge Incorporated must feature either of the Raised Edge Incorporated logos shown below, as our corporate identifier. Raised Edge Incorporated employs two corporate identifiers; our Standard logo and our Alternative logo. Both represent us in the same facility but are used to deal with issues of media type, demographics, and limitation of space. All following sub-sections will pertain to colour variations, logo components, and standard applications. These colour, black and white, and greyscale variations of the two Raised Edge Incorporated logos are the only official colour usages as allowed by Raised Edge Incorporated. For any further colour variation requirements not listed in this guideline, please contact our offices for clarification and/or approval.

and the UsageWhen using any of the accepted Raised Edge Inc. logos the following broad parameters are expected to be strictly adhered to.• The logos cannot be altered in any way• The logos cannot be combined with any other graphic elements to create a new image/symbol• Our corporate colours should always be used with no exceptions• The logo Standard Logo should never be stacked

Raised Edge Incorporated Corporate ColoursBoth the “Standard” and “Alternative” instances of the Raised Edge Incorporated corporate identification marks use the colours shown below as the official colours on all corporate communications. The Pantone Matching System is used for the specific colours apart from black and white in both logos. Further, our black is a “rich” black which allows us to match the blacks used between design programs such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop (the standard black used in Illustrator is only 100% K and has a flat dark grey appearance). This “Rich Black” information must be passed forward to with the PMS information, whenever our Corporate Identifications are being used in print material.

If budgetary concerns support the printing of our identifications in only one colour, please contact our offices for verification of which logo, or which colour to use.

Application of Corporate ColoursThe application of colour to both the “Standard” and “Alternative” instances of the Raised Edge Incorporated corporate identifiers, must be used consistently to preserve the integrity of the Raised Edge Incorporated brand.Inappropriate usage includes:• flipping the colours• using any colours other then the colours listed in this guide• skewing the identifiers• breaking the identifiers apart

• using any one element/portion only from either identifier• altering the orientation• applying custom patterns or gradients to either identifier• changing the fonts used in either identifier

Minimum Sizing of Corporate IdentifiersOur logos must meet a minimum size to ensure we maintain legibility in the content of each Identifier. In the case of the “Standard” logo and the “Alternative” logo of the Raised Edge Incorporated corporate identification marks, the image below illustrates the minimum sizing of each logo, as it pertains to any print material usage.

Minimum Buffer Zone RequirementsA protective buffer must be created and maintained when using our logos in conjunction with other identifiers, design elements, or typography. Our minimum buffer requirement is equivalent to the three arc grouping used in the “Standard” logo.

2. Guidelines for use of our Corporate Identifiers in Corporate Partnerships

Raised Edge Incorporated identities and application guidelines are the sole property of Raised Edge Incorporated. Non-affiliated companies or publications may reference our corporate identifiers only after obtaining written permission from Raised Edge Incorporated. All requested applications must be submitted with an included graphic rendering of the intended usage and a description of the proposed usage.

3. Raised Edge Incorporated Corporate Font SetsPart of the maintenance of our Raised Edge Incorporated identities and brands, is the use of font sets. At present, Raised Edge Incorporated, utilizes only two font sets. These are used across all media. Open Sans and Righteous. We do employ scaling (80%) and tracking (-10) on our print usage of Open Sans and Righteous.
