magazine?Adobe PhotoshopWhilst producing my magazine, I becamemore familiar with Adobe’s ‘Photoshop’ pieceof software.

Before this coursework assignment, I alreadyhad a rough idea of how to use Photoshop asI already use it for Photography, however thisbrief has allowed me to use it differently anddiscover different areas of Photoshop.

This assignment has taught me the differentoptions for adding effects to images and text,as well as using features such as the CloneStamp, Liquify and Patch Tools. I have usedthese for editing my text & photographswhich have been included onto themagazine.

I feel I have used Photoshop well on thisUnit, however I feel I could have, and shouldhave, done a lot better, and my final pieces ofwork are nowhere near a professionalstandard.

QuarkQuark is a piece of software which I was

unfamiliar with before starting this

unit, however I am now aware of its different

options and features.

I am now aware of how to use Quark to

create basic magazine pages, as well as

how to use its limited vector tools.

Quark is very similar to Microsoft

Publisher, so there wasn’t much I needed to

learn about how to use it. It is a piece of

software which I found limited and annoying

and it is one which I am not planning to use

again.
