o 1949 – Following World War II, in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan, a trading company handling precision-measuring tools was inaugurated
o 1951 – The "Line" brand was established. The opening of the first factory in Meguro-ku, Tokyo, Japan.
o 1988 – Expanded its operations to Seoul, Korea and Taiwan
o 1999 – Entered more markets with establishment of Line Seiki Asia Pacific, Inc., based in the Philippines.
o 2006 – Line Seiki Philippines, Inc. was recognized by the Philippine Export Zone Authority as an IT Enterprise
o 2007 – Clean-room and COB facilities were established, allowing for delicate and critical sub-assemblies in-house, assuring higher quality products and better delivery times
