IMPROVING LIVES THROUGH DIGITAL IDENTITY More than 1 billion people—about one-sixth of the world’s population—are largely excluded from society and the economy because they lack documented proof of their identity. Without it, they are deprived of access to the basics we take for granted, such as banking, education, health care, housing and voting rights.

Teach for Slovakia (TfS) goal is to improve education in Slovakia with vision to provide all children with
equal chances to succeed in their life through education, regardless of the conditions they come from.

(association that seeks to integrate disabled
people and improve the quality of life for them) to
build a multifunctional center where they want to

#GIVING TUESDAY

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving, fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. On
November 28, 2017, we have joined the global #GivingTuesday movement, which was brought to Slovakia
for the 1st time by Pontis Foundation. #Giving Tuesday launched the winter charitable season, offering
various opportunities for our colleagues to get involved.
• We have organized traditional Autumn Charity Donation,
during which we collected clothes and other useful items for
selected non-profit organizations.
• We have launched the Xmas Tree of Wishes campaign –
employees could start signing up to buy Xmas present for the
selected kid from foster home.
• We have organized Brown Bag Lunch with Teach for
Slovakia, thus we gave to this partnering NGO opportunity to
present their vision and discuss with our colleagues on how
they could personally contribute to the change of the Slovak
education system.
• We encouraged our employees to come with their own ides
how to help those in need (also providing examples).
• We used the opportunity to identify new Corporate
Citizenship Champions.
