Our leather sofas have armchairs and ottomans in matching leather. All our products are made of premium quality

leather, known as top grain leather. However, each undergoes a different treatment to achieve the desired look.

Regardless of finishing treatment, the leather must not be exposed to strong sunlight. All products made with frames

of wood and sprung in various ways, usually with webbing. Seats with foam and fibre. For more information see our

Our upholstered sofas have armchairs and ottomans in matching fabrics. All products made with frames of

wood and sprung in various ways, usually spring system with band covered. Seats with foam/polyether/feather

filling. Most of our fabrics for upholstered furniture are 100% linen. All fabrics are bleached by sunlight, and

most of our fabrics are between 5 and 6 on the lightfastness scale, which is suitable for indoor use. For more

The vintage leather cigar has undergone a 7-step procedure that has enhanced skin’s natural patina and scars. All products are handmade. Some differences in shape, tone and

structure can occur. Stains should be wiped off immediately before they are absorbed into the leather. Never use detergents on leather. Take a cloth moistened with distilled water and rub

gently. Test on an inconspicuous section first. Any scratches or scuffs on the leather can be made to disappear by rubbing a clean finger over the mark. For more information see our care

rattan material, all from plantations in Indonesia. Kubu grey, Slimit grey, Croco, Lacak and Malaka are the

materials we usually use. The surface is treated with water-based/ecofriendly colouring varnish. Recommended

Our own sewing studio gives our customers great choice regardless of quantity.

Specialist sewing such as curtains, tablecloths etc. is available on request. We can also offer other types of sewing for larger projects. Contact Artwood for a quote.

Products that can be ordered with fabrics from our fabric collection or with your own fabric are marked . Cushions ordered for our rattan furniture are supplied in an

offwhite fabric as standard (100% cotton for indoor furniture, and 100% polyester for outdoor furniture). These products are displayed in our catalogue with a small swatch

symbol to show that they can be ordered in any fabric from our fabric collection. You can also send in your own fabric. Please always contact Artwood first to find out how

much fabric is required. See our fabric collection on pages 184-189.

material, all from plantations in Indonesia. Kubu grey, Slimit grey, Croco, Lacak and Malaka are the materials we

usually use. The surface is treated with water-based/ecofriendly colouring varnish.

Our collection of barstools in various material. Leather in top grain quality and wicker materials.

All recommended for indoor use. Our Sonora barstool give the customer the opportunity to create their

own unique chair. The chairs are manufactured in Italy from beech and are all suitable for the home as well

as public settings. The product is essentially bare giving you the opportunity to choose the colour of the

legs, the upholstery design and the type of fabric. Choose from our fabric collection, pages 184-189 or

send in your own fabric (contact us for the exact quantity).


All our products are made from various types of rattan material, all from plantations in Indonesia. Kubu grey,

Slimit grey, Croco, Lacak and Malaka are the materials we usually use. The surface is treated with water-based/

ecofriendly colouring varnish. Recommended for indoor use. For more information see our care instructions

chapter on pages 232-237. As standard we offer cushions in offwhite 100% cotton for our rattan furniture. These

products are marked . This means that you can have cushions/upholstery made from one of our fabrics, or

All our headboards have furnitures in matching material and colours. The upholstered headboards are made

with frames of wood and covered with foam. Choose between fabrics in 100% linen or velvet. Our headboards

in leather are made of premium quality leather, known as top grain leather. However each undergoes a different

treatment to achieve the desired look. Regardless of finishing treatment, the leather must not be exposed to

strong sunlight. Grey lacak is a natural rattan material, from plantations in Indonesia. The surface is treated with

water-based/ecofriendly colouring varnish. For more information see our care instructions chapter on pages

232-237. See matching bedspreads on pages 194-197.

For Farmer collection, the top is made of a MDF board with a mineral

coating. wich is a composed mixture of mineral powders made out

of various silicates minerals.

a different treatment to achieve the desired look. For more information see our

Boatwood is recycled wood from old boats. Usually softwood. The material

is cleaned and free from harmful substances. Some cracks, nail holes, colour

differences and irregularities may be present in the wood and form part of

the character of the collection to make each piece of furniture unique. Some

cracking may occur.

Our concrete consists of only natural materials such as granite stone powder,

cement, natural jute fibres and water. Like all natural materials, concrete is

porous, and once finished the product is sealed with a wax to provide active

protection against stains. Clean with a mild detergent (such as washing-up

liquid) and water. Do not use abrasives or cleaning agents containing bleach

or ammonia. We do not recommend using regular detergents (which are often

citrus-based) as these are too acidic and can damage the natural materials of

the concrete. Treat regularly by waxing your product once in the first two months

of purchase and then every three to six months depending on its use

and location.

Cl Rattan

All our products in rattan material

come from plantations in Indonesia.

Nest and Aspen collections are

made with a mahogany wood frame

and splitted CL rattan weaving.

The surface is treated with water-

based/ecofriendly colouring varnish.

Recommended for indoor use.

Natrural teak

Teak is hard, heavy, elastic and

contains oils, which gives it great

resistance to moisture and impacts.

We use only wood from Indonesian

plantations to make our teak

products. Our Natural teak collection

is a range of products in which each

and every one is unique.

For this reason, the dimensions

stated are estimates.

All our leather products are made of premium quality leather, known as top grain leather. However, each undergoes

a different treatment to achieve the desired look. Regardless of finishing treatment, the leather must not be exposed

to strong sunlight. The brushed steel products has an intentionally scratched surface achieved by polishing using fine

Our concrete consists of only natural materials such as granite stone powder, cement, natural jute fibres and water. Like all natural materials, concrete is

porous, and once finished the product is sealed with a wax to provide active protection against stains. Clean with a mild detergent (such as washing-up

liquid) and water. Do not use abrasives or cleaning agents containing bleach or ammonia. We do not recommend using regular detergents (which are

often citrus-based) as these are too acidic and can damage the natural materials of the concrete. Treat regularly by waxing your product once in the

first two months of purchase and then every three to six months depending on its use and location.

Teak is hard, heavy, elastic and contains oils, which gives it great resistance to moisture and impacts.

We use only wood from Indonesian plantations to make our teak products. Java oak is a tropical fast-

growing wood that has a grain similar to teak wood but with a softer texture. The surface is treated with

a water-based/ecofriendly colouring varnish. Our leather products are made of premium quality leather,

known as top grain leather. However each undergoes a different treatment to achieve the desired look.

Regardless of finishing treatment, the leather must not be exposed to strong sunlight. Recommended for

indoor use. For more information see our care instructions chapter on pages 232-237.

Our Adirondack chairs are made in mahogany, which is an easy-to-work and water-tolerant wood that is well suited

to furniture making. These are treated with a water-based colouring varnish. This surface coating should not be

exposed to direct sunlight and water, and outdoor use under a roof is therefore recommended. The treatment will

gradually fade with time.

LÄDER

Alla våra produkter är tillverkade av läder i högsta kvalitet, så kallad fullnarv.

Produkterna behandlas på olika sätt för att få fram önskat utseende. Oberoende av hur

lädret är behandlat, så får det inte utsättas för starkt solljus. Många av våra produkter

tillverkas med träramar och resår på olika sätt, vanligtvis med sadelgjordsväv. Sitsar görs

av skum och fibrer. Materialinformation finns under varje produkt. Rekommenderas för

användning inomhus.

S K Ö T S E L

För att lädret ska behålla färg och funktion är det viktigt att man vårdar det. Dammsug

möbeln med mjuk borste. Fläckar skall torkas bort omedelbart innan de dras in i lädret.

Använd aldrig starka rengöringsmedel utan använd en mjuk trasa med ljummet vatten

eller ett rengöringsmedel avsett för läder. På små repor och skav kan man försöka

gnugga med ett rent finger. Var noga med att rengöra och återskydda. Rekommenderas

2–4 gånger/år eller oftare vid behov. Behandla med en skyddskräm innan användning.

Utsätt aldrig lädret för starkt soljus eller placera inte möbeln nära en värmekälla.

Läderfärgen ”vintage cigar”, är ett specialbehandlat läder för att få fram det slitna och

gamla utseendet. Detta läder skall behandlas högst 2 gånger/år för att behålla sitt

utseende. Lädersorterna ”D-Raw”, ”Chocolate brown” och “Souix” är läder utan täckfärg

på ytan, så kallat full-anilin, vilket gör lädret väldigt mjukt och smidigt. Detta gör också

lädret känsligare för f läckar. Lädren ska inte behandlas med någon rengöring eller kräm.

Utseendet är djupt och naturligt och det kan förekomma färgskiftningar. Djurets egen

struktur, insektsbett och ärr lämnas synliga och påverkar inte lädrets hållbarhet.

Om möbeln behöver en ordentlig rengöring rekommenderar vi att du anlitar en

läderspecialist.

STOPPMÖBLER

Alla produkter tillverkas med träramar och resår på olika sätt, vanligtvis fjädring

där resårbandet är täckt. Sitsar med fyllning av skum, polyeter eller fjädrar.

Materialinformation finns under varje produkt. Våra möbeltyger har ett martindalevärde

på minst 20 000. Alla textilier bleks av solljus och de f lesta ligger på mellan 5 och 6 på

ljusäkthetsskalan, som är lämpligt för användning inomhus.

Kemtvätt rekommenderas för avtagbar klädsel och skumtvätt för dynor. Använd gärna en

textilimpregnering för att skydda dynorna mot spill och f läckar.

ROTT INGVåra produkter är tillverkade av olika typer av rotting som alla kommer från plantager

i Indonesien. Materialen är vanligtvis kubu, slimitgrå, croco, lacak och malaka. Ytan

behandlas med vattenbaserad eller miljövänlig färgande lack. Rekommenderas för

användning inomhus.

Möblerna tillverkas i massiv björk , björkfanér och mdf. Montanaserien lackeras med f lera

lager av en matt lack i vitt. Ytan på Vermontserien i svart har ett skyddande glansigt lack

som är känsligare för repor. Använd möbelpolish för att rengöra och skydda ytorna.

BOATWOOD

Återvunnet trä från gamla båtar. Vanligtvis barrträd. Materialet rengörs och är fritt från

skadliga ämnen. Det kan finnas små sprickor, spikhål, färgskillnader och oregelbunden-

heter i träet. Det är en del av kollektionens karaktär och gör varje enskild möbel unik. Det

kan uppstå små sprickor. Möblerna är endast behandlade med en tunn bets och saknar

ytskydd. Behandla med naturligt trävax eller vax med färgpigment om du vill ha en mörk-

are nyans på möblerna. Även sprayvax går bra att använda.

GAMMAL ALM / OLD ELM

Almträet i våra produkter kommer från Centralasien. Stammen ger ett mycket starkt

möbelträ som åldras vackert. Utmärkande för våra produkter är ett obearbetat utseende

och en opolerad yta med oregelbundenheter i träet. Produkterna behandlas f lera

gånger med vax under tillverkningen. Det kan uppstå små sprickor. Vi rekommenderar att

möblerna behandlas med vax var fjärde till sjätte månad med ett naturligt trävax. Om du

vill ha en mörkare nyans på möblerna kan du använda ett vax med tillsatt pigment. Om

de inte behandlas blir möblerna ömtåligare och märkena kan bli permanenta även om

du torkar av dem omedelbart.

EK / OAK

Ek är en hård, tät och stark typ av trä som passar utmärkt för möbeltillverkning. De

f lesta av våra ekprodukter har fått f lera vaxbehandlingar under tillverkningen.

Denverkollektionen är av väderbiten ek som är behandlad med en tunn, vattenbaserad

matt lack på ytan, men är i övrigt helt obehandlad. Det kan uppstå små sprickor.

Farmerseriens underreden är gjorda i massiv, gråoljad ek. Skivorna är gjord av MDF

med en svart ytbeläggning av sil ikatmineral, så kallad mineral coating, vilket gör den

tåligare mot solblekning och spill . Ingen efterbehandling behövs på skivan.

ÅTERVUNNEN TEAK / RECYCLED TEAKVid tillverkningen av våra återvunna teakprodukter används återvunna grenar och rötter

från teakträd. I Railway och Bronxkollektionerna används Bangkirai, kempas, teak och

merbau. Materialet rengörs och är fritt från skadliga ämnen. Det kan finnas små sprickor,

spikhål, färgskillnader och oregelbundenheter i träet. Det är en del av kollektionens

karaktär och gör varje enskild möbel unik. Det kommer sannolikt att uppstå vissa

förändringar i den här typen av naturligt trä på grund av klimatskillnaderna när de tas in

i moderna hem. Det är naturligt och påverkar inte möblernas hållbarhet. Behandla med

naturligt trävax eller träolja för att bevara den naturliga skönheten.

TEAK

Teak är ett träslag med särskilt goda egenskaper för tillverkning av möbler och inredning.

Det är hårt, tungt, elastiskt och innehåller olja som gör det mycket motståndskraftigt mot

fukt och slag. Vi använder endast trä från plantager i Indonesien när vi tillverkar våra

teakprodukter. Våra obehandlade teakprodukter sandpappras och poleras.

Rekommenderas för användning inomhus.

JAVA OAK

Ett tropiskt snabbväxande träslag som har en grovhet som liknar teak men med en

mjukare struktur. Ytan behandlas med en vattenbaserad eller miljövänlig färgande lack.

Rekommenderas för användning inomhus.

MAHOGNY

Mahogny är ett lättarbetat och vattentåligt träslag som passar utmärkt för

möbeltillverkning. Vi använder endast trä från plantager i Indonesien när vi tillverkar våra

produkter. Ytan behandlas med färgande lack.

T R Ä

Se till att hela träytan exponeras för samma mängd solljus för att minska risken för att färgen bleks ojämnt av solen. Det kan uppstå små sprickor. Även temperatur och luftfuktighet

påverkar träets beteende och skruvar och delar bör justeras regelbundet. Torka av med en fuktig trasa. Eventuella f läckar ska torkas bort omedelbart för att undvika att de blir

LEATHER

All our products are made of premium-quality leather, known as top-grain leather. The

products are treated in various ways to obtain the desired look. Regardless of how the

leather is treated, it must not be exposed to intense sunlight. Many of our products are

made with wooden frames and are sprung in various ways, usually with webbing. The

seats consist of foam and fibers. Information on materials can be found under each

product. Recommended for indoor use.

C A R E

To ensure that the leather retains its colour and function, it is important to look after it.

Vacuum the furniture with a soft brush. Stains should be wiped away immediately, before

they are absorbed into the leather. Never use strong detergents, but use a soft cloth

with lukewarm water or a detergent intended for use on leather. You can try rubbing

small scratches and scuffs with a clean finger. Take care to clean and re-protect. It

is recommended that this should be done 2-4 times a year or more often if needed.

Treat with a protective cream before use. Never expose the leather to intense sunlight

or place the furniture close to a source of heat. “Vintage cigar” leather is a leather

specially treated to obtain a distressed and old look. This leather has to be treated no

more than twice a year to retain its appearance.

The “D-Raw”, “Chocolate Brown” and “Souix” types are leather without a topcoat on

the surface, known as full-aniline, making the leather very soft and pliable. This also

makes the leather more prone to stains. These leathers should not be treated with any

detergent or cream. The leather has a deep and natural look, and variations in colour

may occur. The animal’s own structure, insect bites and scars are left visible and does

not affect the leathers durability.

If the furniture needs thorough cleaning, we recommend that you call a leather specialist.

UPHOLSTERED FURN ITURE

All the products are made with wooden frames and are sprung in various ways, usually a

spring system with the band covered. The seats have a foam, polyether or feather filling.

Information on materials can be found under each product.

Our furniture fabrics have a Martindale value of at least 20,000. All the textiles are

bleached by sunlight, and most are between 5 and 6 on the lightfastness scale, which is

suitable for indoor use.

C A R E

Dry-cleaning is recommended for loose covers and foam cleaning for cushions. It is

advisable to use textile impregnation to protect the cushions against spillages and stains.

W ICKERWORK

Our wickerwork products are made from various types of rattan which all come from

plantations in Indonesia. The materials are usually kubu, slimit grey, coco, lacak and

malaka. The surface is treated with a water-based or environmentally friendly colouring

varnish. Recommended for use indoors.

C A R E

Brush off dirt and wipe with a damp cloth.

The colour may fade after long-term exposure to sunlight.

BETONG

Tillverkas helt av naturmaterial som granitstenmjöl, cement, naturliga jutefibrer och vatten.

Precis som alla naturmaterial är betong poröst och när den är färdig försluts produkten

med ett vax för att ge ett aktivt skydd mot f läckar.

S K Ö T S E L

Rengör med ett milt rengöringsmedel (t.ex. diskmedel) och vatten. Använd inte slipmedel

eller rengöringsprodukter som innehåller blekmedel eller ammoniak. Vi rekommenderar

inte användning av vanliga rengöringsmedel (som ofta är citrusbaserade) eftersom

de innehåller syra och kan skada naturmaterialet i betongen. Behandla regelbundet

genom att vaxa produkten en gång under de första två månaderna efter köp och

sedan var tredje till sjätte månad beroende på användning och placering. Det finns

många olika typer av olja och vaxer som kan användas för att behandla bordsskivor

av betong. Vi rekommenderar en vaxolja för att få det bästa skyddet mot f läckar. Oljan

i botten tränger in några millimeter ner i bordsskivan medan vaxet appliceras över

den och bildar ett tunt skikt som förhindrar att vätskor och andra ämnen tränger ner i

betongen. Vi rekommenderar våra kunder att regelbundet behandla sina bordsskivor på

det här sättet eftersom ytbehandlingen slits bort med tiden. Man bör vara extra försiktig

med bordsskivor när de är nya eftersom de då fortfarande befinner sig i den intensiva

härdningsfasen och risken för f läckar är störst under den tiden.


KONSTROTT ING

Aluminiumram med syntetisk rotting av polyetylen. Rekommenderas för användning både

inomhus och utomhus, dock inte vid minusgrader. Kan spricka efter lång exponering för

starkt solljus och i kombination med salt.

S K Ö T S E L

Rengör med vatten och mjuk borste. Använd gärna Plastrotting conditioner för en längre

livslängd på möbeln. Placeras torrt och fritt från temperaturväxlingar vid vinterförvaring.

DYNOR T ILL KONSTROTT ING

början. Behandlingen kommer gradvis att blekna och den naturliga patinan kommer

framhävas och möblerna behåller sin grå färg.

CONCRETE

Made entirely from natural materials such as granite stone powder, natural jute fibres

and water. Like all natural materials, concrete is porous, and once finished the product is

sealed with a wax to provide active protection against stains.

C A R E

Clean with a mild detergent (such was washing-up liquid) and water. Do not use

abrasives or cleaning products containing bleach or ammonia. We do not recommend

using ordinary detergents (which are often citrus-based) as they are acidic and may

harm the natural material in the concrete. Treat regularly by waxing the product once

in the first two months after purchase and then every three to six months depending on

use and location. There are many dif ferent types of oil and waxes that can be used to

treat table tops of concrete. We recommend a wax oil to obtain the best protection

against stains. The oil at the bottom penetrates a few millimetres down into the table

top, while the wax is applied over it and forms a thin coat that prevents liquids and other

substances from penetrating down into the concrete. We advise our customers to treat

their table tops regularly in this way as the surface treatment wears off as time passes by.

Particular care should be taken with table tops when they are new as they are still in the

intensive hardening phase and the risk of staining is greatest during this time.

Store in a dry place away from temperature variations during the winter months.

ALL WEATHER WICKERAluminium frame with synthetic rattan made of polyethylene. Recommended for both

indoor and outdoor use, but not at sub-zero temperatures. May crack after long

exposure to intense sunlight and in combination with salt.

C A R E

Clean with water and a soft brush. “Plastic Rattan Conditioner” can be used to prolong

furniture life. Store in a dry place away from temperature variations during the winter months.

TEAK FOR OUTDOOR USETeak is a wood with particularly good properties for the production of furniture and

interior fittings. It is hard, heavy, elastic and contains oil, making it highly resistant to

moisture and impacts. We use only wood form plantations in Indonesia in manufacturing

our teak products.

Instant grey teak - Untreated teak gradually changes colour in outdoor exposure

from honey at the start to silver grey as time passes by. The products are treated with

an environmentally friendly, water-based solution that gives them their grey weathered

colour from the start. The treatment will gradually fade and the natural patina will be

enhanced, and the furniture will retain its grey colour.

C A R E

Any stains should be wiped off immediately to prevent them becoming permanent.

Make sure that the entire wood surface is exposed to the same amount of sunlight to

reduce the risk of dif ferences in colour due to sun bleaching. Small cracks may occur.

Temperature and air humidity also affect the behaviour of the wood, and screws and

fittings should be adjusted regularly. Wipe with a damp cloth. The furniture should be

treated at least twice a year with “Teak Shield” to retain the resistance to stains and

water. Do not use detergents. Store in a dry place away from temperature variations

during the winter months..

BOATWOODRecycled wood from old boats, usually softwood. The material is cleaned and is free

of harmful substances. There may be small cracks, nail holes, colour dif ferences and

irregularities in the wood. This is part of the character of the collection and makes each

individual piece of furniture unique. Small cracks may occur. The furniture is only treated

with a thin stain and does not have any surface protection. Treat with natural wood wax

or wax with colour pigment if you want a darker shade on the furniture. Spray wax is also

suitable for use.

ELM/OLD ELMThe elm wood in our products comes from Central Asia. The trunk produces a very

strong furniture-making wood that ages beautifully. An untreated appearance and an

unpolished surface with irregularities in the wood are characteristic of our products.

The products receive multiple wax treatments during manufacturing. Small cracks may

occur. We recommend waxing the furniture every four to six months with a natural wood

wax. If you want a darker shade of furniture, you can use a wax with added pigment. If it

is left untreated, the furniture becomes more delicate and marks may become permanent

even if you wipe them off immediately.

OAKOak is a hard, dense and strong type of wood very well suited to furniture making. Most

of our oak products have received multiple wax treatments during manufacturing. The

Denver collection is made of weathered oak treated with a thin, water-based matt

varnish applied to the surface, but is otherwise completely untreated. Small cracks may

occur. The underframe of the Farmer series is made of solid, grey-oiled oak. The tops are

made of MDF with a black mineral coating of silicate material, making it more resistant to

bleaching by the sun and spillages. No later treatment of the top is needed.

RECYCLED TEAKRecycled branches and roots from teak trees are used in making our recycled teak

products. Bangkirai, kempas, teak and merbau are used in the Railway and Bronx

collections. The material is cleaned and is free of harmful substances. There may be

small cracks, nail holes, colour dif ferences and irregularities in the wood. This is part of

the character of the collection and makes each individual pieced of furniture unique.

Some changes can be expected to occur in this type of natural wood because of

the dif ferences in climate when it is introduced into a modern home. This is natural and

does not affect the durability of the furniture. Treat with natural wood wax or wood oil to

preserve the natural beauty.

TEAKTeak is a wood with particularly good properties for the production of furniture and

interior fittings. It is hard, heavy, elastic and contains oil, making it highly resistant to

moisture and impacts. We use only wood from plantations in Indonesia in manufacturing

our teak products.

Our untreated teak products are sand-papered and polished.

Recommended for use indoors.

J AVA OAKA fast-growing tropical wood that has a grain similar to teak but a softer structure. The

surface is treated with a water-based or environmentally friendly colouring varnish.

MAHOGANYMahogany is an easy-to-work and water-tolerant wood that is very well suited to furniture

making. We use only wood from plantations in Indonesia in manufacturing our products.

The surface is treated with a colouring varnish.

C A R E

These products are treated with a water-based or environmentally friendly colouring

varnish. The surface treatment should not be exposed to direct sunlight and water.

It is therefore recommended that the furniture is positioned under a roof when used

outdoors. The treatment fades gradually over the course of time. Store in a dry place

away from temperature variations during the winter months.

W O O D

Make sure that the entire wood surface is exposed to the same amount of sunlight to reduce the risk of dif ferences in colour due to sun bleaching. Small cracks may occur.

Temperature and air humidity also affect the behaviour of the wood, and screws and fittings should be adjusted regularly. Wipe with a damp cloth. Any stains should be wiped off

immediately to prevent them becoming permanent. Do not use detergents. Recommended for use indoors.
