Transportation You arrange y our ow n flight to the chosen destination in Greece. (For Andros and Tinos you fly to Athens.) We meet y ou at the airport and take care of the rest. The transfers to/from the airport, transport to/from workshop locations and v arious ex cursions are included in the price. Accommodations We hav e selected some nice accommodations at various destinations. All our accommodations are well equipped, nicely furnished and are cleaned ev ery day . In the morning y ou can enjoy a good breakfast (included) and the hospitable owners make sure that y ou hav e a wonderful stay . Ex tension of stay is possible on request. Workshops The w atercolor course is prov ided by Anna Vollebregt while Anneke Kamerling helps you painting with oils and acry lics. The mosaic and sculpting w orkshops are given by local ex perts, w ith assistance of Anna or Anneke. The groups consist of up to 16 participants and painting courses are ex clusiv e material. Ex perience has shown that most people prefer to work with their own materials. We make sure paint and brushes are available, in case y ou miss something, but bring y our own familiar materials. The mosaic and sculpting w orkshops are including materials. Program At 09.00 we leave for the workshop location. That may be inland or at the coast. We work until about 13:00, after which we return to our stay. In the afternoon we offer optional ex cursions. Partners welcome! While w e paint, there is plenty to do for the partners and of course they are w elcome to join us on our ex cursions! Excursions In the afternoon you can participate in our tours or ex plore the area by y ourself. We are pleased to introduce you to the Greek life and lead you to places y ou w ould nev er find otherw ise. The av erage daily temperature in May and September is about 25 °C! So, if you rather spend your time on the beach or at the pool, you are free to do so. If you prefer to venture out by yourself, we can arrange a rental car with an attractive discount for you. Anna and Anneke When Anna for the first time arriv ed in Greece in 1984,
on the island of Rhodes, she got the feeling of "coming home". After that, she v isited many islands and mainland of Greece. She liv ed and w orked for nine
y ears on the island of Paros, w here she learned to speak Greek fluently . On Paros she w rote some
illustrated new spaper articles about wild plants. More about this can be found at: w w w .paroslife.com (column
'Wild Flow ers'). In her studio on Paros, she taught painting to v arious people of different nationalities. She has painted and described maby wild plants on the
island as w ell. Numerous w alks she made on the island,
after w hich she besides painting the beautiful landscape also w rote stories about encounters w ith both people and nature.
Anneke has completed the Gerrit Rietveld Art Academy and w orks as a v isual artist. She also w rites trav el
guides for the series het-boekje.nl. She liv ed in Greece
for ov er 10 y ears, is fluent in Greek, teaches and translates Greek and regularly returns to her belov ed
Greece.
