Artist Talks & Signings during the

Photo+Art Book Hamburg 2011

The PHOTO+ART Book Hamburg 2011 focusses on the printed medium as an artisticplatform: photo and art books, magazines, zines as well as exklusive editions and e-bookswill be shown. The creative book fair will be held at the House of Photograpy in Hamburgfrom 2nd – 4th September 2011. In addition to the fair the PHOTO+ART Book Hamburg2011 will also be offering workshops, presentations, exhibitions, booksignings and thegetPublished Award 2011.

Apart from that the audience will get the opportunity to take part in several artist talks duringa 2-day symposium about the dutch and belgian photo book culture with many renowendartists and youngsters of the contemporary photo and artist book scene.

Carl de Keyzer Carl de Keyzer is an acitve photo journalist. In 1982 he was as a lecturer of photography at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Gent active. Since1994 he has been a full member of the renowned photo agency Magnum Photos. His works are innumerous collections such as the ICP in New York andthe FNAC in Paris. Cuny Janssen Graduated from the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht, internship with Thomas Struth. Sheproduced several books, a.o. Macedonia (2004), Finding Thoughts (2005), There is Something in theAir (2007), Amami (2009) and My Grandma Was A Turtle (2010). Recently she photographed thesacred mountain Yoshino in Japan for an anthology of Japanese poetry. Janssen lives and works inAmsterdam.www.cunyjanssen.nl

Anouk Kruithof

born in Dordrecht, the Netherlands, studied photography at St. Joost Academy Breda from 1999-2003.She lives mainly in Berlin since she attended the artist in residence program Künstlerhaus Bethanien in2008/2009. Christian Lutz born in Geneva in 1973, studied at the legendary art school „Le 75“ in Brussels (1993-1996). Recentlyhe got the photo award of Vevey and the German Photo Book Prize 2010 for his impressive work„Tropical Gift“.
