The Artisan EV1200 has it all, with pace and performance far in excess of traditional electric bikes, quiet, emission free and with weather protection unsurpassed in its class. This scooter really has that certain something, the credibility to be seen on, the timeless retro design, as at home on the cobbles as the hi-tech city environment. It has ageless appeal, whilst still maintaining its ECO credentials.

The Artisan EV1200 is equipped with an on board charging system enabling you to top up wherever you have access to a standard 13amp socket, it couldn’t be easier. The powerful 1200w motor has been optimised to pro-vide a range in the region of 60km enough for an average three or four day city commute on a single charge, costing just pence.

A BRIEF GUIDE TO WHO CAN RIDE:If you have a full car licence obtained before 1st Dec 2001, you can ride the Artisan EV1200 without L-plates, there is no legal requirement for a CBT certificate and you are effectively ready to go. If your full car licence was obtained after 1st Dec 2001, you are required to have a CBT certificate first.

If you don’t have a car licence you must be at least 16 years old with a Provisional moped licence and a CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) certificate. You have to display L-plates and cannot carry a pillion passenger. To ride without L-plates, you must take a further practical and theory test. CBT costs approximately £80-£100, and includes both off-road and on-road riding and training. The pass certificate is valid for two years, or if you pass the car test in the meantime, lasts forever.

A CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) certificate is exactly that, it is a safety based training course designed to ensure that you understand the basic principles of motorcycle control and road safety. It is not a driving test - it is a training course. We always advise completing a CBT if you have not previously ridden a motorcycle on the road, whether it is a legal requirement or not.

FEATURESThe Artisan EV1200 is fitted with powerful LED lighting for indicators, brake and tail lamps for added safety and low power consumption. A tungsten 55w headlight with integral sidelight ensure good visibility.

The controls are ergonomically designed, within easy reach and simple to use. To the right, front brake lever, rear view mirror, twist and go throttle, safety cut out switch, lights and horn. To the left rear brake lever, rear view mirror, headlamp Hi/Low, indica-tors and horn.

The EV1200 is fitted with powerful hydraulic, ventilated, disc brakes front and rear for real stopping power in all conditions.

The lightweight turbine style alloy wheels and specially selected low profile tyres together, offer low drag co-efficiency for reduced energyconsumption, and added safety in wet weather.

Centrally, speedometer, odometer, battery charge indicator and warning light console take prime position. The high quality materials used are themed to maintain the retro appearance but provide modern-day reliability.

The lockable seat unit is ergonomically designed for comfort and is well proportioned for both rider and pillion passenger. A range of seat colour and material options is available to personalise your Artisan scooter.

The running boards are fitted with raised foot rails for added grip for both rider and passenger alike. The Artisan is also fitted with a comprehensive alarm system.

There are two lockable storage compartments, one under seat and the other in the right hand side panel. The latter is designed to transport your 72v charger securely ensuring that you can top up the charge wherever you find a standard 13amp socket.

There is a side stand fitted for ease of use and a robust centre stand for parking and storage. The enclosed wheel spaces and wide fairing are designed to protect in the event of inclement weather deflecting wind and rain.
