As a member of The Episcopal Church, I humbly struggle with the power of prayer and faith. It is through my prayer and my faith that I believe I am quali-fied to assist any committee at the Diocesan level. I previously worked on the Diocesan Youth Council, plus held many parish-level positions. I am currently working on a Certificate of Theology and Ministry, which has further devel-oped my faith.

*The Rev. Justin A. Falciani—Christ Church, Somers Point

The Rev. Justin Falciani has been rector of Christ Church, Somers Point, for six and a half years. He has been elected to Diocesan Council and Disciplinary Board. At this time he is successfully presiding over a Parish Capital Campaign to expand ministries and outreach of Christ Church to the surrounding area. Rev. Falciani is also a member of the Ethics Committee of Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation in Galloway Township.

In his 15 years of ordained ministry in three dioceses, Fr. Scott Russell has served as chaplain, associate rector, and rector, being elected as chair of the Higher Ed Ministry Commission, and member of Executive Council, Commis-sion on Ministry, Budget and Finance, Social Justice Task Force, LGBTQ Inclu-sion, and Diocesan Council.

As an experienced chaplain sponsored by the Diocese of Ministering for 16 years with refugees at the Elizabeth Federal Immigration Detention Center, it is especially important this year to have a voice at the General Convention representing the way forward for refugees and migrants who came to the US with the hope for safety, security, and a better future.

*The Rev. Valerie A. Balling—St. Barnabas Church, Monmouth Junction

The Rev. Valerie Balling serves as Rector of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Mon-mouth Junction. She has been a Deputy to the General Convention from the dio-cese in 2012 and 2015, and both times was selected to serve on a Legislative Com-mittee. She wants to support the next deputation with her knowledge of the legis-lative process as well as have more time to experience the Convention. Valerie is honored to serve the diocese in this way.

*The Rev. W. Keith McCoy, Dcn.—St. John’s Church, Somerville

It would be an honor to serve this Diocese again as an alternate deputy, after serv-ing in 2006 and 2015. I bring many years of service in this diocese to this office, as well as several years on the national level for the diaconate. As a part of our dep-utation, I would promote the vision of servant ministry in all our discussions and decisions.

*Dr. Karen G. Bemis—Christ Church, New Brunswick

Karen Bemis was an Alternate Deputy to the 2012 Convention and a Deputy to the 2015 Convention. She has served on the vestry of All Saints Highland Park and Christ Church New Brunswick, on Diocesan Council, and on the Board of Mis-sions. She conducts research in volcanology, oceanography, and data visualiza-tion.

*Marcus A. Gales—Christ the King, Willingboro

Marcus is an active member of Christ the King in Willingboro. He has served on the Vestry. Marcus has served as a deputy to the Diocesan Convention. He served

as an alternate deputy to the General Convention. Marcus is currently serving on the Diocesan Council. He attended the Diocese's Anti-Racism workshop. Marcus is a member of the UBE and is serving on the Commission on Black Ministry. He is retired from the United States Air Force.

*Thomas Szczerba—Christ Church, Toms River

Thomas served as Alternate Deputy to GC2015 bringing a much needed Youth/Young Adult perspective to the Deputation. He graduated Rider University in 2016; is an active member of Diocesan Young Adult Council, and Youth Director at St. Uriel's, Sea Girt. He served on Diocesan Youth Council and many Christ Church ministries, often in leadership roles. He is currently in the discernment process for Priesthood. Thomas will serve effectively and faithfully as Alternate Deputy GC2018.

*Eileen Schilling—Christ Church, Toms River

Eileen Schilling has been a member of Christ Church, Toms River since 2007, where she is active in the choir, the vestry, and the Christ Church Café, which provides hot meals to the wider community. She has also served as a Youth Group Leader and an aco-lyte. She has served as a Diocesan Convention delegate or alternate for the past 6 or 7 years. She would be honored to serve as an alternate to General Convention.

*Barbara Okamoto Bach—St. Paul’s Church, Westfield

Barbie has been active in the diocese for more than 20 years, having served on the Standing Committee, Diocesan Council, Anti-Racism Commission and Team, and Envi-ronmental Commission as well as in national racial justice movements. She has been a LEM, vestry member, outreach coordinator, and more. Barbie is a lifelong 3rd-generation Episcopalian and former member of 4 dioceses.

*Donna Devlin—St. Peter’s Church, Freehold

Donna Devlin is a member of the Diocesan Stewardship Commission, the Animal Wel-

fare Committee, Diocesan Council, Major Chapter, and Chairperson of Ministry With

the Disabled and served as 1st alternate deputy to General Convention 2015. She is a

member of St. Peter's Church Freehold. She mentors EfM groups in Toms River and

NYC. She is the Director of Christian Education/Formation for Children's Ministries at

the Cathedral of St. John the Divine NYC.

*The Rev. Kathleen Murray—St. Mark’s Church, Keansburg

The Rev. Kathleen Murray is priest-in-charge at Saint Mark's, Keansburg. She is currently a member of the Diocesan Budget & Finance Committee and the Com- mittee for Older Adults. She is a graduate of the General Theological Seminary of The Episcopal Church and holds a master's degree in public administration from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. She has extensive experience with budgets, finance and administration.

*The Rev. Angelo S. Wildgoose—St. Mark’s Church, Plainfield

The Rev. Angelo S. Wildgoose, Rector of St. Mark’s, Plainfield, NJ. He has served as a priest in the world wide Anglican Communion and The Episcopal Church for over 17 years , and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience. During his ministry he has served at the Diocesan level in different capacities, his most in Diocesan Council in Diocese of Pennsylvania. He feels called to continue in faithful service to God and His people in NJ.

Marcus is an active member of Christ the King in Willingboro. He has served on the Vestry. Marcus has served as a deputy to the Diocesan Convention. He served as an alternate deputy to the General Convention. Marcus is currently serving on the Dioc-esan Council. He attended the Diocese's Anti-Racism workshop. Beth Binde has attended Christ Church New Brunswick since 2008. Shortly, she will complete a term on the vestry, serving as the Communications and Evangelism chair. She participates in the Way of St. Paul, Prayer Ministry and recently joined the Parish Choir.

The Rev. Amy Cornell was born and raised in the Diocese of New Jersey. Or-dained in 2012, she currently serves as Rector of Grace St Paul's Episcopal Church in Mercerville. She is currently serving on Cathedral Chapter and would like to continue this important work. Amy also serves as Dean of the Trenton Convoca-tion and is on the Congregational Development Commission.

A lifelong Episcopalian, Eve was ordained to the Sacred Order of Deacons in the Diocese of New Jersey in 2015. Her sending parish was St. George’s, Rumson, NJ where she was an active member for more than 20 years. Eve serves as Deacon at St. John’s, and served on Diocesan Council, Lifelong Christian Formation and Millen-nium Development Goals. She is completing a term on the Standing Committee for Clerical Compensation and is part of the Diocesan Human Trafficking Task Force.

Father Parrish completed a one year term on the Standing Commission on Clerical Compensation and is seeking a second term. The committee has been very produc-tive this year, developing a sabbatical policy and compensation guidelines for supply clergy. Further work remains in developing enhancements for interim ministries, shared ministries, and extended part time ministries. As a recently retired priest with over thirty years’ experience in ordained ministry, Joe has a broad understand-ing of clergy needs.

Fr. Kirk is completing a term on the Committee and would welcome the oppor-tunity to serve again. He has been in the diocese 26 years and since 2010 has served as Rector of Grace Church Merchantville. He also serves on the Benefits Committee and as a transition consultant. Formerly he was the Discernment Sub-committee chair of the Episcopal Election Committee for Bishop Stokes.

*Donna L. Freidel—St. Thomas’ Church, Glassboro

A lifelong member of the diocese and a practicing attorney, Donna is a current member of the Constitution and Canons Committee, is active on the MDG task force, and served on the Episcopal Election Committee. Currently, she is the Dioce-san ECW President. Donna is also on the board of Kitchen of Hope and is active in Family Promise of Gloucester County.

*Paul Wolfgang—Holy Trinity Church, Collingswood

As a member of the Diocesan Council, Loan and Grant committee and the Finance and Budget committee I am familiar with our mission properties and trust funds. In the coming years we face challenges to effectively use and preserve these assets for our future missioner life. I would be honored to serve with the other trustees to face these challenges.

*The Rev. Kathleen Murray—St. Mark’s Church, Keansburg

The Reverend Kathleen Murray has been a member of the Finance and Budget Com-mittee since 2014. At Saint Mark’s, Keansburg, she has guided the Vestry in imple-menting financial procedures and guidelines to comply with generally accepted ac-counting procedures, as well as audits in compliance with diocesan policies. In addi-tion to her M.Div., she has an MPA in Finance and Administration from Columbia University and has significant experience in budgeting in government, non-profits and churches.

*The Rev. Martha McKee—Church of the Holy Spirit, Tuckerton

Martha has served as the Vicar of Holy Spirit, Tuckerton for seven years. She is seeking a third elected term on the Finance and Budget Committee. Prayerful attention to financial priorities is critical to the future of our Diocese. She draws on her broad knowledge of the congregations and ministries of our Diocese, as well as her previous work in corporations and government.

*The Rev. Clive Sang, Dcn.—Trinity Church, Cranford

Clive Sang retired from a successful career where he held senior positions in man-agement, consulting, sales, and operations, in the financial services industry. Clive earned a BA in Economics from NYU and an MBA in Management Information Sys-tems from the Stern School of Management. He is a member of several financial, community based, and fraternal organizations, including Treasurer of the National Association of Urban Bankers. Clive was ordained Deacon and completed his MDiv in 2012.

*Carol A. Forsythe—Christ Church, New Brunswick

I am currently the Chair of the Audit Committee. In addition, I serve on the Dioce-san Loan & Grant and Companion Diocese Committees. I am a member of Christ Church, New Brunswick and currently serve on the Vestry as Finance Chair. Over the years I have held many other positions, including that of Rector's Warden.

*John Graham, Esq.—Grace-St. Paul’s Church, Mercerville

John Graham is a Central Jersey-based attorney. A major part of the services he provides is advising clients on their fiduciary responsibilities with regard to assets, making sure that adequate procedures are in place for the investment committees to make in-formed decisions. He has advised religious organizations and other tax-exempt organizations. Prior to his work with his current firm, John provided services to major investment houses where he was constantly analyzing investment strate-gies for compliance with various laws.

*The Rev. J. Connor Haynes—St. Mary’s Church, Burlington

The Rev. J. Connor Haynes has been Rector of St. Mary’s in Burlington for seven-teen years. A native of Illinois, he was ordained as a deacon, then as a priest, in1986, and served in the Diocese of Springfield, Illinois before being called to St.Mary’s in 1996. Fr. Haynes' commitment to our Diocese and to his fellow clergymake him a great candidate for this Board.

*The Rev. Terry L. Martin—St. Stephen’s Church, Waretown

Terry has served within the Diocese of New Jersey since 2003. Prior to that, heworked with congregations in California and Wisconsin. He has been elected toDiocesan Council, appointed to the Resolutions and Nominating Committees,served on the Board of Missions and worked with the Right Onward Visioning Com-mittee. In 2008, he became the Program Officer for Evangelism at the EpiscopalChurch Center. He was called as Rector of St. Stephen's Church, Waretown in2010.

*Dr. Benjamn Hicks—St. David’s Church, Cranbury

Prior to joining his current parish, Hicks was a member of Christ Church, New Brunswick for several years and served as the lay delegate to Diocesan Convention for the Episcopal Church at Rutgers. He has significant experience with the diocese, its polity, and the responsibilities that come with sitting on deliberative bodies, in-cluding two terms on the Rutgers University Senate and, as an educator, handling confidential concerns for the community with discretion, care and diligence.

*Dr. Karen G. Bemis—Christ Church, New Brunswick

Karen Bemis has resided in the diocese since 1991, playing several roles within par-ish and diocese including member of vestry, Diocesan Council, and Board of Mis-sions; deputy/delegate to General Convention (2012 alternate, 2015), Diocesan Convention, and Northern Convocation; and participant in the Anti-Racism team . Ordained in 1986, she was a Deputy to General Convention in 2006 and 2009, and during her 20 years in parish ministry served on Diocesan Council, Standing Committee, and Advisory Board of the Episcopal Chaplaincy to Princeton and Rutgers, and Co-Chaired the Anti-Racism Commission.

Gregory Winter is a faithful member of St. Paul’s Church in Westfield. He recently retired from a successful law practice and has served the church with distinction as a legal counsel. Mr. Winter served on St. Paul’s vestry, was a warden during the most recent transition, and used his sharp mind to draft reforms that were much needed. Gregory has also been a leader of our Youth Mission Trips.

*Canon Paul Ambos, Esq.—Christ Church, New Brunswick

Canon Ambos has been a member of the Diocese of New Jersey all his life and is an attorney practicing in the fields of commercial, corporate, real-estate, and canon law. He was elected Alternate Deputy to General Convention 2009 and Deputy to General Convention 2012 and 2015. He serves on the diocesan Standing Committee on Constitu-tion and Canons, the Committee on Resolutions, and the Committee on Rules of Order and Dispatch of Business, which he chairs. He has been Chancellor of the Diocese of New Jersey since 2014.
