Ungaro heat devices Ungaro heat devices, operate exclusively with wood pellet fuel and/or wood, they are equipped according to the models with one or two separate combustion chambers. The hearth of the stove is the heat exchanger made on copper which allows to achieve an efficiency over 91%.

Ungaro heat devices have an internal chrono-thermostat to switch the stove on and off automatically (only for wood pellet).

Models Maia, 2-Fire and Yncas produce hot air too, through a fan with a capacity of 60m3/h, heating the ambience where the stove is installed with hot air.

Ungaro heat devices through their copper heat exchanger, may adopt an optional kit for the production of continuous hot drinking water.

Working modes of Ungaro products The working modes of Ungaro heat devices is divided in the following steps:

Lighting mode (“fan asp” e “load wood”)Stabilizing mode (“fire on”)Working modeModulation modeSwitching off mode

Lighting mode (“fan asp” e “load wood”)

Electronics run a test of about 30 seconds to verify the correct working of the smoke fan (“fan asp”), right after the stove activate pellet gearmotor and ignition (“load wood”). After about 5 minutes the flame will be present.

Stabilizing mode (“fire on”)

Stabilizing of the flame will be on when smoke temperature will meet the value at Pr 13 (40° C as default), only at that moment electronics will disconnect ignition.

Page 31: ARTEL Pellet Thermostove & Stove-Technical Guide

www.ungarosrl.com

Working mode

Further of the stabilizing, the stove starts the working mode; at the reaching of the default temperatures will be on the water circulator (water at 40° C) and the ambiance air fan (smoke at 90° C).

Modulation mode

Modulation mode starts at about 9° C below than the SET, the stove will reduce automatically the working speed to reduce fuel.

If modulation is run by an external ambience thermostat, at the reaching of the desired temperature, the stove will reduce automatically to the lowest speed and the display will show “t off”.

Switching off mode

By pressing button “off”, the pellet feeding gearmotor will be disconnected, smoke fan and air fan will run at max speed. All motors will be completely deactivated when smoke temperature will meet the safety value (40° C as default Pr 13).

Connection to water tank (Puffer Mode)

WATER TANK (PUFFER)

Well for temperature detection

Air thermostat

Electric connection

In “puffer mode” stove will work as follows:  Modulation will start according to water temperature inside water tank. It will enter on “stop fire” mode following the set of key 22 (pr 84).

It will turn on again, exit from “stop fire” following the set of key 23 (pr 85)

Despite the stove is in “On” or “Off” mode, water circulator will stop when temperature of the water in the stove will be 2° C higher of the set required on water tank. It will start again circulation when temperature will be 4° C higher than the set required. Hot air (where present), will take as reference to turn on the temperature of smoke (Pr-11), its speed will depend on the speed of the stove (Po 1 to Po9). The speed of hot air may also be adjust with Pr 25-26-27.

Press button 4 until the display will show “FAN ASP”, at this stage the stove will perform a diagnosis on the smoke fan (about 30 seconds).

Right further display will show “LOAD WOOD”, cochlea will start moving feeding pellet and electric ignition will be on.

Only for 2-Fire Models.

When we would like to switch on only the wood combustion chamber, the upper display will show “OFF”, the lower will show the outlet water temperature.  The temperature of the outlet water is electronically controlled by the opening and closing of the primary air inlet valve. The offset can be set from 0° to 20° C.The wood can be light only manually as a conventional wood stove. The hot air will not be operating, the option is valid only with pellet combustion chamber on.
