Каталог, который вы держите в руках, весьма необычен. Он необычен не тем, что в нем под одной обложкой собраны работы живописцев, скульпторов и фотографов. Не тем, что эти авторы живут в разных концах света. Не тем, что они принадлежат к разным поколениям. Не тем, что стили их творчества различны, а временами даже неконвергентны. Не тем, что уровень работ этих художников иногда просто несопоставим. Не тем, что популярность одних из них ровно настолько же велика, что и полная неизвестность других. Этот каталог необычен самим принципом, исходя из которого такие разные по творческим и человеческим меркам мастера объединены вместе – тем самым принципом, что был заложен в основу международного объединения художников «Владимир Андреев и его друзья: Art of Inspi-ration». Во все времена художественные объединения и направления формировались исходя из общности идеологических или творческих установок их участников. Успешные арт-дилеры работают с определенной группой художников, объединенных стоимостью их полотен на рынке и заинтересованностью самого арт-дилера, убежденного в их будущей высокой цене. Галереи, как правило, демонстрируют примерно равные жанровые и творческие составляющие мастеров, представленных в экспозициях, из чего, собственно, вытекает главная, коммерческая ценность их работ. Музеи закупают шедевры творцов, доказавших свою значимость уровнем мастерства и характеристикой определенного времени в человеческой истории, после чего распределяют их по тематике, жанрам и принадлежности к какому-то историческому периоду или местности. Все эти принципы доказали свою жизнеспособность, все они хорошо работают и все они претендуют в итоге на ОБЪЕКТИВНОСТЬ. В данном случае речь идет о совсем ином принципе, кардинально отличающемся от всех этих подходов. Он прост – это СУБЪЕКТИВНЫЕ ПРИСТРАСТИЯ Владимира Андреева, создателя арт-группы «Владимир Андреев и друзья».

Владимир Андреев – сам фотохужожник, причем творит он в жанре классической фотографии. В его работах много природы, масса света, большие пространства и почти нет людей. И чем меньше людей в его фотографиях, тем больше их в его жизни, тем шире его открытость к произведениям разных жанров и техник. Как я понимаю, принцип, по которому составлена его команда и этот каталог, держится на трех китах – ЛИЧНЫЙ ВКУС Владимира Андреева, диапазон которого не замыкается в рамках одного или нескольких направлений в искусстве, ЛИЧНАЯ ЧЕЛОВЕЧЕСКАЯ СИМПАТИЯ к какому-либо художнику, которая вполне может перевесить в глазах Андреева недостаточно высокий уровень его мастерства, и ВОЗМОЖНОСТИ ПОТЕНЦИАЛЬНОГО РОСТА, которые Андреев разглядел в чьем-то творчестве или личности самого творца. И здесь совершенно не важны возраст и географическое местоположение участника этого объединения. Тем не менее само происхождение организатора, выросшего в российской глубинке и проживающего ныне в Нью-Йорке, играет роль немаловажную – поэтому большинство художников, представленных в каталоге, или россияне, или выходцы из России, или каким-то образом связаны с русской культурой, а те, у кого такой прямой связи не прослеживается, связаны с ней посредством Владимира Андреева и его арт-группы. Сам по себе такой субъективный подход, не претендующий даже на видимость объективности, достаточно уникален и необычен. При этом он совершенно не исключает высокой коммерческой стоимости творчества участников этой арт-группы, как показывает практика. Откройте книгу, убедитесь в том, что необычный принцип, по которому Владимир Андреев выстроил этот каталог и арт-группу, работает нисколько не хуже всех остальных, традиционных, и ПОЛУЧАЙТЕ УДОВОЛЬСТВИЕ от созерцания произведений таких во всем разных, но безусловно талантливых художников.


The catalog you’re holding in your hands is very unusual. It is unusual not because it assembled under one cover the works of painters, sculptors and photographers; not that these writers live in different parts of the world; not because they belong to different generations; not that their cre-ative styles are different; not that the lev-els of their works are sometimes simply not comparable; not that some of them are popular while the others are totally unknown. This catalog is unusual in the very principle upon which such different masters are joined together – the same principle that was laid in the foundation of the international association of artists “Art of Inspiration: Vladimir Andreyev and his friends». At all times, art associations and move-ments were formed on the basis of com-mon ideological or artistic beliefs of the participants. Successful art dealers are working with a certain group of art-ists grouped by the market value of their paintings and the interests of the art dealer. Galleries tend to have particular preferences on genre and style. Museums buy the masterpieces of known artists and then group them by subject, genre, histori-cal period or place. All these principles had proven to be viable, they all work well and they all claim to be objective. In this case we are talking about a com-pletely different principle, which radically differs from all of these approaches. It is simple - it is a subjective preference of Vladimir Andreyev, the creator of art group “Art of Inspiration” Vladimir Andreev is a photography art-

ist himself, and he works in the genre of classic photography. In his works there are a lot of large spaces, natural light and al-most no people. And the fewer people are in his photographs, the more of them are in his life, the greater is his openness to the art of different genres and techniques. As I understand it, this principle is based on three pillars – Vladimir Andreyev’s per-sonal taste, which is not confined to just one or some art genres; his personal hu-man sympathy for any artist, which in An-dreev’s eyes may well outweigh non-per-fect artist’s skills; and potential of growth, which Andreev sees in artist’s work or personality. From this standpoint neither the age nor the geographic location of the member of this association matter. Nev-ertheless, since the founder has his roots from Russian province though is living in New York now, most of the artists in his group are somehow connected to Russia – they are either Russians, or immigrants from Russia, or in any way connected with Russian culture, and those who are not, are associated with it via Vladimir Andreev and his art group.By itself, this totally subjective approach is rather unique and unusual. However, it does not negate the high commercial value of the participants’ art as practice shows. Open the book, make sure that the un-usual principle that Vladimir Andreyev built this catalog and his art group upon works no worse than the traditional ones, and enjoy the great collection of artworks from so different but certainly talented artists.

All of Vladimir Andreyev works a quality of wide open and quiet contemplation of the infinite, a panoramic vision. The individual fragments of this vision, individual photographs, as, for example the flaming “Autumn Leaves”, or the lyrical, yet totally controlled “Green Landscape”, or the “Winter Landscape” The work contains a greatness of image, and a delicacy of symbolism.

All of Vladimir Andreyev works a quality of wide open and quiet contemplation of the infinite, a panoramic vision. The individual fragments of this vision, individual photographs, as, for example the flaming “Autumn Leaves”, or the lyrical, yet totally controlled “Green Landscape”, or the “Winter Landscape” rendered with an almost monochromatic palette where the gradations of gray, slightly tinted with rose which builds a composition of sharply etched planes. Each work of Vladimir Andreyev – his strict, calculated compositions embody in their depths and subtexts, passionate emotions. His work “cathedral” demands close attention for the grandness of its theme appealing to the understanding of reality through global categories. The work contains a greatness of image, and a delicacy of symbolism; The light, pouring in from the windows of the cathedral may be a flash of eternal love, or wisdom, The picture forces one to expand the horizons of his vision, and look at the world form a higher, spiritual point of view. The epic and philosophical approach to his chosen themes does not preclude attention to detail. Often an obscure theme is emphasized by the photographer through the enlargement of a detail in the foreground, or perhaps the author underscore the beauty of a fragment taken by itself without violating, thereby, the unity of the image as a whole. The creative method of Vladimir Andreyev is characterized by the ability to create an interesting and extraordinary compositional image, to find an unusual point of view, and to harmoniously tie it all together. The passionless objectivity of a camera’s lens is equivalent to the flash “objectivity” of a photographer which impoverishes and emasculates his images… But when, behind each image, stands the face if its creator, his feelings, his soul, his unique interpretation of the visual as a reaction to his environment, the we see what is most valuable, what distinguishes a true Artist.

Во всех работах Владимира Андреева присутствует эпичность, вселенский

размах, панорамное видение, но при этом отдельные фрагменты – настоящие

“куски” живописи, как, например, пылающие, охваченные жаром “Осенние

листья”, где доминирует страсть, эмоциональная выразительность, либо

лиричный, сдержанный по колориту “зеленый пейзаж”, либо выдержанный

в монохромной гамме “зимний пейзаж”, где градации серого, с чуть оттененным

розовым горизонтом выстраивают композицию с четким, графическим

чередованием планов. Каждая работа Владимира Андреева – это строгая,

выверенная композиция и заключенная в ней, в глубине, в подтексте страстная

эмоция. Особого внимания заслуживает работа “Собор”, грандиозная по

затронутой тематике, апеллирующая к постижению реальности через глобальные

категории. Работа совмещает в себе величественность образа и тонкую

символику: свет, изливающийся через окна собора, может быть озарением, вечной

любовью, мудростью... Картина заставляет расширять горизонты воспринимаемого и

интерпретировать мир с высшей, духовной точки зрения. Эпический, философский подход автора к избираемым темам не

исключает внимательности к деталям Часто удаленный мотив представлен

фотографом через укрупненные детали переднего плана, либо автор подмечает

красоту отдельно взятого фрагмента, не нарушая при этом впечатления

целостности образа. Умение интересно, незаурядно выстроить композицию

кадра, выбрать необычный угол зрения, гармонично увязать детали - это то, что

дополняет уникальность творческого метода Владимира Андреева. Когда

за каждым художественным образом стоит лицо творца, его чувства, душа, его особенная, только ему присущая

интерпретация видимого как реакция на окружающую жизнь – это самое ценное,

что отличает настоящего Художника.

Елену Аб, художницу, живущую в Нью-Йорке, когда-то раз и навсегда

околдовала бетонная магия больших городов. Она одержима городами, в

которых ей довелось жить, городами, ставшими частью ее внутреннего мира.

Большой холст и акриловые краски - это все, что нужно художнице, чтобы пробудить в зрителях ту гамму эмоций, которые она испытала, проводя время

в человеческих муравейниках. Энергии, звуки, ритмы, оттенки цветов создают атмосферу, из которой, словно холст,

ткется неповторимая архитектура каждого города. Сочетание неба, земли,

Elena Ab, a New York City based artist, has always been intrigued by the concrete magic of the cities. Elena is exploring one of her passions - the cities around the world where she had lived and which have been a great part of her life. By using a large canvas and acrylic paint, Elena’s goal as a painter is to evoke the range of emotions she experienced while living in those cities. The energy, sounds, rhythm and colors create an atmosphere, like a canvas for each city’s unique architecture. From sky, earth and water, to steel, glass and gold, the combination of these elements creates a living, breathing entity. Elena brings these cities to canvas using the language of paint, wishing that the viewer would feel their vibrant lives, ever changing yet remaining the same in a time and space created by her. Her paintings show the oscillation between abstract and concrete, going beyond artistic technique, but referencing the great masters of Expressionism that sought to express meaning or emotional experience rather then physical reality.

When you are surrounded by canvases of Matvey Basov there is a feeling that the artist lives, thinks and breathes with the help of painting because his feelings and thoughts flow into the canvases with powerful intensity and emotionality, revealing themselves in layers of colors of elements and fiery splashes of light and warmth. The images of his works are original and vivid; in their avant-garde plasticity one can feel a link with ancient traditions and the faith of forefathers. In their colorful contrast and shining radiance you can find the completeness of feelings and power of emotions, those not expressed but deep and hidden. They conceal a gentle prayer, hope, patience, conversion to God, and immersion in one’s self. Their decorative texture reveals beauty and indomitable power of the color, which is the language of painting. The artist grew up in the family where painting was an idol. The avant-garde art of his father Israel Basov was constantly in conflict with the official style of social realism and taught Matvey since his early childhood to perceive and comprehend the world through painting and to express himself through it, taught to search for his own ways in art, to be independent and courageous. In spite of stylistic difference in father’s and son’s painting styles there is certainly something in common. It is probably the voice of ancestors which is somewhere in the consciousness and “breathes” life into picturesque canvases; breathing of eternity which causes philosophical recollections; emotionality which is expressed in the richness of coloring and some kind of underexpressed feelings which only intensify their depth.

ощущение, что художник живет, думает и дышит при помощи живописи - c такой энергией, темпераментом и

эмоциональностью чувства и мысли проливаются на полотна и застывают

на них напластованиями краски-стихии, огненными очагами света-тепла.

Образы его произведений самобытны и колоритны, а в их авангардной

пластике ощущается связь с традициями и верой старозаветных предков. В их

вызывающей контрастности и пылающей светозарности - полнота чувств и

сила эмоций, невысказанных, глубоких и потаенных. В них - тихая мольба,

терпение, обращение к Богу и погружение в самого себя. В их декоративной

фактурности - красота и неукротимая энергия краски - языка живописи.

Художник вырос в семье, где живопись была божеством. Искусство, которое

творил его отец, Израиль Басов, и которое своей авангардностью не

вписывалось в официальный стиль соцреализма, учило с детских лет

воспринимать и постигать мир через живопись и высказываться ее языком,

учило искать свои пути в искусстве, быть независимым и смелым. При стилевом

различии в живописи отца и сына ощущается и нечто общее: возможно,

это голос предков, который звучит где-то в глубине сознания и “озвучивает”

живописные полотна; дыхание вечности, которое настраивает на философские

размышления; эмоциональность, которая проявляется в насыщенном колорите, и некоторая невысказанность чувств,

которая усиливает их глубину.

I don’t have specific preferences in choosing objects for my photography. I just shoot what captures my attention and touches my soul. Last years I have mostly photographed landscapes, flowers, urban views, but perhaps people are my favorites – the dynamic portraits in various situations. I began studying photography when I was at high school and I can say that I’ve read and digested lots of books on topic – all I could get in those years. And those books, art albums, paintings and museums were my first and main teachers. During my college years I took part in numerous photo exhibitions. Later I have met TASS news agency reporter in Azerbaijan Yuri Rachel who later became my good friend.Of course, I know about the eternal discussion about whether photography is an art or not. I believe that it is. Photography gives you unlimited possibilities to express yourself, you soul and mood and to share it with others. Cameras, computers and software are just instruments, like artist’s brushes and paints; the rest comes from your head, talent and culture.Each photograph is essentially unique. Sometimes I nurture the idea for months if not years, prepare various variants and, when I’m ready, work fast and confidently. Sometimes the decision comes quickly - saw something when passing by, something caught my attention and voila – the nice shot is done. Sometimes it’s unusual lighting, for example.Everything may influence the art. It may be new people you’ve met, good photograph you saw (either amateur or professional), out-of-the-way painting exhibition or new graphic work. Certainly, my mood is also very important.

У меня нет особых предпочтений в выборе объектов съемки. Обычно снимаю то, что

трогает мою душу и привлекает внимание. В последние годы – это природа, городские

пейзажи, цветы, но все же, наверное, больше всего меня привлекают люди,

динамичные портреты людей в различных ситуациях.

Фотографию я стал изучать в школе. Перечитал и изучил гору книг – все, что мог

достать в те школьные годы. Мои первые и основные учителя – книги, альбомы

художественной фотографии, живопись, музеи. Учась в институте, я принимал

участие в различных фотовыставках, а какое-то время спустя познакомился с

корреспондентом ТАСС по Азербайджану Юрой Рахилем, который

позже стал моим другом. Я, конечно, знаю об извечных спорах -

является ли фотография искусством или нет. Я уверен, что это искусство. Фотография

дает неограниченные возможности выразить себя, состояние души, настроения

и поделиться этими ощущениями с окружающими. Фотоаппараты, компьютер

и различные программы – это только инструменты, кисти и краски художника, а

все остальное идет от головы, таланта и уровня культуры.

Каждая фотографическая работа в принципе уникальна. Бывает, идею

фотографии я вынашиваю месяцы, иногда годы, мысленно готовлюсь, обдумывая

различные варианты, а, созрев, работаю быстро и уверенно. Бывает, решение

приходит очень быстро: проходил мимо, увидел, что-то остановило тебя, привлекло внимание и... кадр готов. Часто «цепляет»

какое-то необычное освещение. На творчество влияет все. Это и новые

люди, с которыми ты познакомился, это и случайно увиденная хорошая

фотография (неважно, любительская или профессиональная), какая-то необычная

выставка живописи или графическая работа нового для тебя художника. И безусловно,

имеет значение твое настроение.

I was born in 1963 in the family of a soldier in Ulan-Ude, near Lake Baikal. In 1985 I was enrolled in the Art department at the School of Music in Chita. I worked as a graphic designer, DJ, directed the theater pop miniatures in Chita youth center, and had directed and illustrated several theater performances. In 1995 I quit designer work and took up painting seriously. Up to now, this is what I do for living.I would say that the styles of my paintings are quite diverse - it may be surrealism, avant-garde, realism. I work in almost all genres of painting and drawing.I took part in many Russian and international art exhibitions.My work is a fruit of a fantasy, not a synthetic scene. The ideas and images seem to appear by themselves, and only afterwards I can realize that they had existed in my imagination for the long time. I am sincerely pleased when the viewer is trying to interpret my work. Unconsciously, we notice a multitude of details that add up to a system of symbols and affect our mood and behavior.

Улан-Удэ недалеко от озера Байкал. В 1985 году поступил в

Читинское музыкальное училище на художественное отделение.

Работал художником-оформителем, руководил театром эстрадных

миниатюр в Читинском молодежном центре, поставил и оформил

несколько спектаклей. Затем работал ди-джеем.

В 1995 году, бросив оформительство и все остальное,

серьезно занялся живописью. С тех пор она является основным

источником моего дохода. Стили, в которых я пишу картины,

достаточно разнообразны - сюрреализм, авангард, реализм. Я

работаю практически во всех жанрах живописи и графики. Был участником

многих российских и международных выставок.

Мои работы – плод фантазии, а не синтетический сюжет. Образы

рождаются сами собой, и лишь потом я понимаю, что эти картины

существовали в моем воображении давно. Я искренне радуюсь, когда

зритель пытается интерпретировать мои работы. Бессознательно мы фиксируем множество деталей,

которые, складываясь в систему символов, влияют на наше

настроение и поведение.

Sophiya Blank is a researcher and the author of eight books, coordinator of the World Noospheric Spiritual and Ecological Assembly in the United States and the director of the research center of “New Vision-21” company. She has been living in New York since 1995. She is involved in research of invisible radiance of living beings, energy fields, light formations, as well as entities and structures carried out using the Kirlian photosystem modified by the engineer/inventor Victor Mikirtoumov, who has been living in New York since 1995.The images are captured as the result of a high voltage, low amperage discharge. The Kirlian images obtained by Sophiya Blank in the course of her research were exhibited in Rostov, Krasnodar, and Nizhnii Novgorod. In 2005 these images were displayed at a world exhibition in Nagoya (Japan) and in one of the galleries of Prague.

физическим зрением излучений, полей, световых образований, а также сущностей и структур

ведутся по кирлиановской фотосистеме, модифицированной

инженером-конструктором Виктором Микиртумовым,

проживающим в Нью-Йорке с 1995-го года.

Съёмка объектов осуществляется в высоковольтном

низкоамперном разряде. Кирлиановские снимки, полученные

Софией Бланк в процессе исследований, представлены в музеях Ростова, Краснодара и

Нижнего Новгорода. В 2005-м году эти снимки выставлялись в русском павильоне на Всемирной Выставке

в городе Нагойя (Япония) и в одной из галерей Праги.

Talking about photography is easy and pleasant. The subject is so multifaceted, that you can say anything you think – and any passage will sound intelligent and thoughtful, but still ... What I brought home from the hours of night vigils at the computer, as well as those of numerous photo shoots and kilometers of films and kilograms of megabytes. My credo is the genre. It does not mean that I don’t like nature and macro photography. But in my opinion, the genre is something that cannot be repeated, it is very up-to-the-minute (as well as reportage). I don’t like reportage that much because it generally lacks that portion of philosophy and romanticism, which the genre has. There is “a theme of loneliness” in my genre photos, not because I aspire to it, it just happened so. The human as a subject within nature, within the landscape is interesting and attractive to me. A. Lapin, my teacher, though being a fairly harsh and demanding person, had pointed it out as a positive example. Concerning color photography, that’s where my art education came in handy. My opinion is that the usage of color has to be justified. The combination of colors creates a certain gamut, which in turn gives rise to perception and the psychological effect on people. My skills in light and color control became very useful in my photography. After all, no matter how clever the camera is, it cannot by itself find answers which arise whenever a person is looking at the world through the viewfinder. Only the photographer can. I agree with this, and welcome to my world, a world of my photos. I want you to see the world as I see it.

Рассуждать о фотографии легко и приятно. Предмет разговора настолько

многостороннен, что можно сказать все, что угодно – любой пассаж будет казаться

умным и глубокомысленным, но все же… Я вынесла для себя из многочасовых

ночных бдений у компьютера, многочисленных фотосессий, километров пленки и килограммов мегабайт, что мое

кредо – жанр. Это вовсе не означает, что я не люблю природу или макрофотографии.

Но жанр, на мой взгляд, это то, что невозможно повторить, он сиюминутен

(так же как и репортаж). Репортаж я люблю не так сильно, он для меня лишен

той доли философии и романтизма, которая есть в жанре.

В моих жанровых фотографиях присутствует «тема одиночества», не

потому, что я к ней стремлюсь, просто так сложилось. Человек - субъект внутри

природы, внутри пейзажа интересен и притягателен для меня. А. И. Лапин, мой

учитель, будучи человеком достаточно резким и требовательным, не раз отмечал

это, как положительный пример. Что же касается цветных фотографий, то и здесь

мне пригодились мое художественное образование. Мое мнение: цвет должен

быть оправдан. Сочетание цветов рождает определенную гамму, которая

в свою очередь рождает восприятие, психологически действует на человека.

Умение владеть цветом и светом - это то, что пригодилось мне в фотографии. Ведь

какой бы умной ни была бы камера, она не решит самостоятельно тех задач, которые

возникают и будут возникать всякий раз, когда человек смотрит на окружающий

мир через видоискатель. Это решает только он сам – человек.

Поэтому - добро пожаловать в Мой Мир, мир моих фотографий. Я хочу, чтобы вы

увидели мир таким, каким его вижу я.
