    - Analyzing what the art piece is trying to say

    Impressionism - a style of painting characterized chiefly by short brush strokes of bright colors

    in immediate juxtaposition to represent the effect of light on objects.

    Composition - The combining of distinct parts or elements to form a whole.

    Fauvism - An art style characterized by the bold distortion of form and the use of strong, purecolor.

    Surrealism - An early-20th-century movement in painting begun by a group of French artists andmarked by the use of bold, often distorted forms and vivid colors. Fantastic images
