Thank you for choosing DoubleTree by Hilton Aberdeen – City Centre. We thought it may be useful to provide you with some information about our hotel which you may find helpful when planning your visit.

Arriving at the hotel – MAIN BUILDING

- On arrival at the hotel, the main entrance is via two sets of glass double doors which open outwards. There is a drop-off area under the canopy at the front entrance.

- Free car parking is available and 3 accessible spaces are located in front of the main building.

Welcome and Reception

- The Reception Desk is located on the left hand side of the main doors. - The lobby floor is ceramic tiles. - The reception desk is just over 1.07m high. - The reception area has a hearing induction loop. - The 1 Guest Lift is located on the right hand side after the entrance. - The main entrance is locked at midnight with a door bell for assistance. - Assistance with luggage is available on request 24 hours a day.

Toilet Facilities

- Public toilets are located on the right hand side after the main entrance to the hotel. A unisex accessible toilet is situated here with adapted facilities including: outward-opening door, grab rails, lowered wash-hand basin with mixer tap and emergency pull cord on the left-hand-side of the toilet. Motion sensor lighting.

- A nappy-changing facility is also available here.

Lifts

- The main building has one guest lift serving all floors situated on the right hand side after the main entrance to the hotel. The lift can be accessed at Ground Floor level and has tactile buttons.

Bar / Lounge

- The bar / lounge is approximately 1.13 metres high and finished with a granite

bar top. Table service is available. - The bar is located to your left hand side when entering the main door. - Large print menus are available upon request.

Restaurant

- Located on the ground floor, the restaurant is located on the left hand side after the main entrance between the bar/lounge and reception.

- Menus are available in large print upon request. - The Breakfast Buffet bar is located in the restaurant and is 0.88m high.

Fitness Room

- The fitness room is located on the first floor via a spiral staircase and has a range of cardiovascular equipment and weight resistance machines. You will need your room key to access the fitness room.

- Please note, the fitness room is not accessible for wheelchair users.

Guest Rooms

- The hotel has one accessible room in the main building and two accessible rooms in the Platinum Club (pictured).

- Each accessible room has one double bed and has interconnecting doors which can be opened if required.

- On arrival at the Platinum Club, the main entrance is via the revolving door. A side door is available for wheelchair users.

- Free car parking is available and 7 accessible spaces are located in front of the Platinum Club.

PLATINUM LIFT

- The Platinum Club has one guest lift serving all floors situated on the right hand side past the reception desk. The lift can be accessed at Ground Floor level and has tactile buttons.

PLATINUM LOUNGE

There is a mixture of high and low tables and seating in the Platinum Lounge.

PLATINUM DISABLED PUBLIC TOILET

- Public toilets are located next to the lift on the ground floor. A unisex accessible toilet is situated here with adapted facilities including: outward-opening door, grab rails, lowered wash-hand basin with mixer tap and emergency pull cord. Motion sensor lighting.

In the Event of Emergencies:

The Hotel operates a system of PEEPs (Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans). On check-in to the Hotel, you will be offered the opportunity to discuss and outline any special requirements or assistance you may need should an evacuation of the Hotel be necessary as a result of a fire or other emergency.

You will be given a copy of this Emergency Evacuation Plan and we will keep a copy for our Hotel Fire Team to refer to in case of an evacuation taking place during your stay.

The Plan will specify which of our Team Members will be designated to assist you, should you require this.

Should you have any concerns regarding emergency evacuations, please speak to the Duty Manager.

Conference Facilities DoubleTree by Hilton, Aberdeen City Centre has 5 meeting rooms. All meeting rooms have Direct Dial Telephones and you can contact your dedicated Meeting & Events Operations Team during the entirety of your event by calling our CAREline on “0”. All meeting rooms are carpeted. Audio visual equipment is available, please inform our Meeting & Events Sales Team at time of booking if you would like to use this.
