The suspects confronted the residents of the home and stole a small amount of money. The suspects fled the residence. If you have information on this crime, or any other crime, call Crime Stoppers at 522-EYES (3937) or 1-800-444-3776. Box •Dustin Alan Quint, 20, of Sterling, was arrested in the 100 block of Jones Lane for failure to comply and disturbing the peace. •A burglary was reported in the 1000 block of Park Street at 7:06 a.m. Two pickup trucks were broken into between 6:30 p.m. Nov. 16 and 6:30 a.m. Nov. 17. A garage door was damaged, glove box in one of the pickups damaged, copper items and assorted tools stolen. Damage and the missing items are valued at about $1,500. •Police received a trespassing report at 2:49 p.m. An address in the 200 block of North Seventh Avenue was broken into between 11 a.m. Nov. 10 and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 17. •Kyle Brandon Langley, 26, was arrested on charges of protection order violation. Nov. 16 •Two vehicles collided in the intersection of Broadway Street and Sidney Avenue at 10:53 a.m. Charles Morton, 61, of Sterling, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Impala west on Broadway as Andres Rangel, 18, of Sterling, was driving a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix north on Sidney Avenue. Both vehicles sustained extreme front end damage. •Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Third Avenue and West Main Street at 6:06 p.m. Ivanna Vance, 17, of Akron, was driving a 2002 Saturn SL stopped in traffic in the 300 block of South Third Avenue, waiting to turn left onto West Main Street. Ray Love, 21, of Sterling, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Impala, stopped in the 100 block of North Third Avenue. Both vehicles entered the intersection when the light turned green. Both vehicles sustained front end damage. Nov. 14 •Police received a report of a burglary in the 2000 block of South Sixth Avenue between 5:45 p.m. Nov. 13 and 12:30 a.m. Nov. 14. A door jam was broken and a 27-inch flat screen television was stolen. Logan County Sheriff’s Office Nov. 19 •Deputies responded to a civil standby in the 15000 block of Ridge Road. •William Brandon Wilde, 38, was arrested on a Logan County warrant for theft by receiving. •A deputy responded to the 7000 block of South Fifth Street in Atwood regarding a missing person report but the male was located on Tuesday in Denver. Nov. 18 •A deputy was dispatched to a physical disturbance in the 600 block of Main Street in Peetz. •A deputy was dispatched to the 700 block of Logan Street in Peetz on a medical call. Nov. 17 •Sean Rene Pearce, 46, was arrested on a Sterling Police Department warrant for failure to appear. Bond was set at $1,000. •A deputy was dispatched to the 400 block of Colorado Avenue in Merino in reference to a dog complaint. •A deputy was dispatched to the state wildlife area at County Road 40 and 49 in reference to vehicles driving in the fenced area where prohibited. •Crystal Lintner, 44, was arrested on a Morgan County warrant for failure to appear. •A deputy was dispatched to the 200 block of Fourth Street in Crook in reference to tires slashed. Nov. 16 •A deputy was dispatched to the 16000 block of Henry Avenue in Atwood for a welfare check. •A deputy was dispatched to the 100 block of Parkview Drive in reference to a welfare check on a puppy. •A deputy responded to a reported theft in the 18000 block of County Road 24. Nov. 15 •A deputy responded to a 911 hang-up call at the Atwood Sinclair. •Keith Allen Ogle, 23, was arrested on a Logan County warrant for failure to appear. Bond was set at $10,000. •A deputy was dispatched to a theft report on County Road 34. Nov. 14 •A deputy responded to the 18000 block of Willow Drive in reference to a domestic dispute. •John Walter Guhl Jr., 28, was arrested on a Logan County warrant for failure to comply. Bond was set at $10,000. •Rick Andrew Lopez, 25, was arrested on a Sterling Police warrant for failure to comply. Bond was set at $1,000. •Timothy Lee Ashworth, 19, was arrested on a Logan County warrant for failure to comply. Bond was set at $15,000. •A deputy responded to a report of several large bales spilled by a truck near Highway 6 and County Road 24. •Kenya Raymond Greene, 38, was arrested on two Logan County warrants for failure to comply and a charge of obstructing a peace officer. Nov. 13 •Kristen Lynn Williams, 18, was arrested on a Sterling Police warrant for failure to comply. Bond was set at $500. •A deputy responded to a harassment complaint in the 12000 block of County Road 250. •Deputies were dispatched to a dog complaint in the 23000 block of Pawnee Avenue in Padroni. Sterling Fire Department Nov. 14 •Fire units responded to a report of a possible house fire in the 500 block of Cleveland Street at 2:52 p.m. Upon arrival, Police reported the fire was out. Firefighters found smoke throughout the house. Two pots were found on the stove that had smoked but not burned. The house was ventilated. •Firefighters responded to a reported structure fire in the 300 block of North Division Avenue at 5:23 p.m. Upon investigation, it was found to be an air conditioner plug melted in the outlet. Xcel Energy and the city’s code enforcement officer were notified. Colorado State Patrol Nov. 20 •A westbound vehicle driven by Crystal Cruse, of Yuma, struck a horse on County Road 22, near County Road 63. Nov. 17 •A vehicle driven by Joshua A. Bates of Wright, Wyo., struck a coyote on Interstate 76 about 11 miles east of Sterling.
