Step 2Drill the wall to take suitable mounting screws.

    • Care should be taken to avoid drilling or screwing into concealed electrical wiring

    • For solid brick we suggest that you use screws and masonry plugs. Fix the mounting bracket to the wall, leading the supply cable through the cable entry of the mounting bracket.

Step 3Wire the unit in accordance with Fig. 2. Double check wiring connections. Fix supplied sleeve over active and neutral wires. Fit the earth wire to the earth screw on the body – ensure the toothed washer is against the painted surface and tighten the screw.

(NOTE: The luminaires must be earthed)

Step 4Tighten both screws on the lampholder terminal.

Step 5Ensure wiring does not interfere with refitting of diffuser and front trim. Push back excess through cable entry.

Step 6Insert light globe into fitting.

Step 7 Refit diffuser and front guard. Ensure rubber gasket is correctly in place.

    • Always switch off mains supply before servicing or cleaning of the luminaire or changing the lamp. Allow the luminaire to cool before handling if it has been operating.

    • Replace only with E27 bulbs of maximum wattage no greater than that marked on the interior of the lamp fitting. Compact fluorescent bulbs are suitable for use.

    • To avoid dust build up, wipe lightly with a damp cloth as required.

    • Care should be taken when cleaning to prevent scratching. A soft cloth or fine-hair brush should be used together with a non-abrasive cleaner.

    • Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners on any part of your light.

    • Check product label for bulb type and maximum wattage. (E27, 60 watt maximum for small bunker lights. 100 watt maximum for large bunker lights. Suitable for use with compact fluorescent bulbs)

    • The luminaire must not, under any circumstances, be covered with any insulation materials or be installed close to flammable materials.

    • Ensure electricity is switched off at the mains before commencing installation or maintenance.

    • Suitable for mounting on normally flammable surfaces.
