Jacksonville Museum of Arkansas Military History featuresdisplays on the Civil War in the Trans-Mississippi Theater.

It is the stamping site for the Reed’s Bridge battlefield,an August 27, 1863, action that was a keypoint in the Little Rock Campaign.

MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History is located within the old U.S.Arsenal that in 1861 was almost the flashpoint to start the Civil War.

Old State House Museum was the state capitol for both Confederateand Unionist governments during the Civil War.

Marks’ Mills Battlefield State Park: From I-30 at Malvern turn south on U.S. Highway 270. InMalvern take State Highway 9 south; 2 miles south of Princeton, take Highway 8 and continuethrough Fordyce to the site, near New Edinburg.

Mount Elba Battlefield: From I-530 at Pine Bluff, take Highway 79 South at exit 39 to Rison. Turnleft at the road's intersection with Highway 35 South. Drive two miles and turn right on Mount ElbaRoad. Drive nine miles to the end of the road.

Mount Holly Cemetery: From I-630 take the Route 67/Broadway Street exit south. Located atthe corner of Broadway and 12th Street.

Oakland Cemetery Confederate Section: 2101 Barber Avenue, Little Rock, AR  72206.

Pike-Fletcher-Terry House: 411 East 7th Street in Little Rock, AR.

Reed’s Bridge Battlefield: Take I-40 to I-440 north. Exit onto State Highway 161 and travelapproximately 2 miles to the bridge at Bayou Meto.

Ditch Bayou Battlefield: From intersection of U.S. 65 and U.S. 82 south of Lake Village takeU.S. 82 east for two miles to its crossing of Ditch Bayou. Turn right and proceed east for 2 miles.The exhibits are on the left.

Drew County Historical Museum: 404 South Main Street, Monticello, AR 71655.

Helena Confederate Cemetery: From I-40 take Highway 61 south to Highway 49 east. FollowHighway 49 into West Helena. Take Highway 49 bypass, and follow into downtown Helena. Followhistoric route signs.

Elkins’ Ferry Battlefield: Nubbin Hill Road, off U.S. 67. Prescott, AR 71857.

Fort Southerland Park: From I-30 at Prescott take State Highway 24 east to Camden; turn fromHighway 24 onto State Highway 4 Spur and follow 4 Spur and U.S. Highway 79 to Bradley FerryRoad. Site is located 2 blocks down on left.

Poison Spring Battlefield: Poison Spring State Park is located on State Highway 76, approximately13 miles west of Camden, Arkansas off State Highway 24.

Prairie D’Ane Battlefield: Northwest of Interstate 30 at Prescott, AR.

Cane Hill Battlefield: Encompasses a roughly 12-mile track beginning in the town of Cane Hilland traversing the mountainous area south to the Cove Creek area.

Cane Hill Cemetery: From Prairie Grove, follow U.S. Highway 62 west to Arkansas Highway 45and turn left. Turn right on Lincoln-Cane Hill Road (County Road 13). Proceed about 1/8 of mileto Old Cane Hill Road (County Road 440) and turn left. The cemetery will be on your left.

Fayetteville Confederate Cemetery: From I-40 take U.S. 71 to Fayetteville; 71 becomes CollegeAvenue. Turn east on Rock Street to Confederate Cemetery.

Fayetteville National Cemetery: From I-540, take exit 623 approximately 1 1/2 miles to GovernmentAvenue. Turn right directly to cemetery entrance.

Fort Smith Museum of History: From I-540 take Rogers Avenue west to downtown. The museumis on the corner of Fourth Street and Rogers Avenue.

Fort Smith National Cemetery: From I-540 take Rogers Avenue exit and go west to downtown.At the Y turn right and take Garrison Road to Sixth Street. Turn left on Sixth Street.

Headquarters House Museum: 118 East Dickson Street, Fayetteville, AR 72701.

Massard Prairie Battlefield Park: From I-540 take Zero Street east to Highway 45. Take Highway45 to Geren Road, then to Morgan’s Way. Turn right on Morgan’s Way to Red Pine Drive; thepark is on the right-hand side.

Old Jail Museum: East of the courthouse on the Greenwood town square.

Fitzhugh’s Woods Battlefield: From U.S. Highway 64 at Augusta, drive north on ArkansasHighway 33. Interpretive area is on the east side of the road.

West Point Cemetery: Located on the Little Red River on Highway 36 at West Point in WhiteCounty.

Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum: 102 Riverfront Park Drive, North Little Rock, AR.

Arkansas National Guard Museum: Located at Camp Joseph T. Robinson in North Little Rock.

Bayou Fourche Battlefield: Located on Fourche Dam Pike at the crossing of Fourche Bayounear the Little Rock Airport.

Brownsville Cemetery: Located north of Lonoke and I-40 on Highway 31.

Camp Nelson Confederate Cemetery: From I-40 take Remington exit then take Highway 15 northto where it crosses and becomes Highway 89 and follow to its junction with Highway 321. Turn right onHighway 321 and continue to Cherry Road. Turn left on Cherry Road. Site is about 0.5 mile on the right.

Camp White Sulphur Springs Confederate Cemetery: The cemetery is located three milessouthwest of Pine Bluff on the Sulphur Springs Rd. then turn right onto Luckwood Rd.
