System highlights
Ceiling-mounted supports:
• Two fully motorized, ceiling-mounted supports for detector and X-ray tube
• Both ceiling-mounted supports provide free travel in 3 spatial and 2 rotational axes, and can be flexibly and auto-matically positioned via software control
• Smart Move: automatic positioning of the detector and X-ray tube to the
ideal location
• MIMIC Function: MIMIC function enables the detector to
automatically “imitate” the position of the X-ray tube and vice versa, while maintaining a constant tube-to-detector centering and SID. This provides fast and convenient system adjustments.

AXIOM Aristos FX Plus is a multi-functional, ceiling-mounted FD imaging system for chest exposures as well as skeletal radiography of the skull, abdomen and extremities.
It combines intelligent mechanics with a high-resolution amorphous Silicon, digital flat detector (FD).
The ceiling-mounted supports can be freely positioned in the room, providing a high level of flexibility during all exams. This single X-ray system offers lateral and oblique exposures as well as trauma applications.
With the FX Plus pocket-size room option, it is possible to accommo-date the system in a smaller area.

Ceiling-mounted supports
Smart Move is the motto of the AXIOM Aristos FX Plus:
From an engineering point of view, Smart Move means intelligently controlled movements. Organ programs automatically move the motorized detector and X-ray tube into the desired position. Two ceiling-mounted supports that can be freely positioned in the room make this flexibility possible. Thanks to the system’s mechanical range, lateral and oblique exposures, as well as emergency applications, are more convenient.

At the push of a button, the system automatically moves to the exposure position defined by the user. The movements of 10 motors are software-controlled and coordinated.

Detector
The 9 million active pixels of the flat detector (FD) provide brilliant images as a basis for precise diagnoses. The 43 cm x 43 cm area also enables large thorax surveys. High dose efficiency enables dose reduction without compromising image quality.

Scatter radiation grid

Operation
Complete system operation integrated at the imaging station combines generator, system, and imaging system control at one common operating console.
Conveniently control system movements via standard remote control or wireless remote control*.
The examination procedure is controlled via the selection of organ programs (automatically with RIS connection). Organ programs automatically set the system position, generator parameters, and collimator settings, including additional filtration.
Siemens universal syngo operation via keyboard and mouse for complete system functions such as selecting/configuring organ programs, system positioning, generator control, and image processing makes for easy system training.

Patient data, organ program and tube angulation are clearly displayed on the X-ray tube housing
