MLS Service Packages(effective July 1, 2016)

During the past two decades, HAR has carefully tracked developments in technology, consumer experiences, agent productivity and broker profitability. Based on this research, HAR developed an extraordinary package of products and services to make our members successful. HAR is nationally recognized for its commitment to provide its members with the most innovative and productive tools in the industry. This effort continues today, and we remain committed to providing leading edge tools into the future.Since 1997, all tools developed by HAR have been incorporated into a single MLS package without raising MLS fees.

National industry politics and federal law have resulted in NAR policy changes that require local MLSs to unbundle MLS services. Effective July 1, 2016, HAR will comply with these new NAR policies by providing an additional package of services.All MLS Subscribers will continue to receive those services defined by NAR as "substantially related to the function of a MLS" in a MLS Standard package.A new MLS Platinum (optional) package of services has been developed by HAR designed to drive leads to your business and maximize your marketing exposure.

MLS Subscribers who choose to take advantage of the lead generation, agent promotion and listing promotion services will need to subscribe to the additional MLS Platinum service.

The HAR.com mobile app allows both consumers and HAR members to search for homes for sale or lease in Texas. Consumers will be able to use the award-winning HAR.com residential property search engine to find a home, favorite listings and view property search history. Members will be able to access MLS information (MLS subscribers only), their leads, their listings, as well as access their company's listing inventory.

At HAR, our goal is to continuously improve the value you get from the MLS Platinum package by adding exciting new tools. We have upgraded the MLS Platinum package to include the newly redesigned Agent & Company Website with an integrated Virtual Office Website tool (VOW). We’ve redesigned your current sites and have given them both a slick, modern design coupled with a powerful property search engine. The VOW feature will also enable your registered customers and clients to view Premium content such as Days on Market, Property History Reports and Sold Price for nearby listings. Your existing websites were automatically upgraded already (5/10/16).

You can now offer your branded HAR.com app to your customers! Every listing will be branded with your information and emails and Schedule Showing requests will come directly to you. Here’s a quick introduction on how to invite customers to your branded app, get feedback and start generating leads to grow your business.

1. Download the HAR.com app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and login as a REALTOR® / Pro with your HAR member login.

2. Click the My Branded App button from the app homepage.3. Enter details for your new customer and easily track who has

been invited and who has accepted your invitation from the Customers screen.

4. Once your customer accepts your invitation, you can view their activities from the Customer Details screen, also accessed from the My Branded App button.

5. Send listings to your customers by clicking the Recommend to Customers menu option from any listing detail page. Your customer will see that listing in their Recommended Listings screen.

6. Invite as many additional customers as you like using the above steps and watch the leads roll in!

AgentSpot ads are displayed in a variety of areas on HAR.com where agent-specific is not normally displayed. For instance, they will never display in an area where specific agent information is already shown such as on a for sale listing for a property. When AgentSpot Ads are displayed, they come in two categories: Area Specific & Organic.When setting up your AgentSpot listing, you will need to enter one to five zip codes that in which you most commonly do business in. These zip codes will determine where your Area Specific Ads are displayed. For location where AgentSpot may show, but an area is not yet selected, an ads will be displayed organically from the list of all available agents who have opted into AgentSpot.

To get started, you will need to login to the HAR Members Only Site. From the menu, click on 'MLS' and then from the 'MLS Tools' category, click on 'MarketInsight'. Choose a listing from your current inventory, sold transactions or enter any address, and click on 'Setup MarketInsight'. You will need to enter the user's name and email address to send them an invitation to participate in MarketInsight. You can enter multiple email addresses when setting up MarketInsight for a property.

Client Experience Rating ProgramClients will be asked to rate their Realtor® on their performance in four service categories using a star system, with 5 stars being the best rating possible. The Client Experience Rating system will then average the scores to determine an overall rating for the Realtor®.

Clients also have an option to

include brief comments.
