Are You Walking On The Right Path In Life?


“It is good to speak of God today.”

Thank You for coming and worshiping.


1 Corinthians 15:40-58(NKJV) 40There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 41There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory. 42So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. 43It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. 44It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. 46However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual.


47The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven. 48As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. 49And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man. 50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.


53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” 55 “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” 56The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

How can we know the right way?



Desire the way

Psalms 25:4(KJV) 4 Show me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.



Seek the way

Jeremiah 6:16(NKJV) 16Thus says the Lord: “Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’



Follow the One who is the right way

Psalms 25:10-11(KJV) 10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies. 11 For thy name’s sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.


Psalms 23:1-6(KJV) 1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

It is the Lord’s way

Proverbs 14:14(NKJV) 14 The backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways, But a good man will be satisfied from above.



It is better than we can imagine

Isaiah 42:16(KJV) 16And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.



It leads to eternal life

Proverbs 12:28(KJV) 28In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.

Proverbs 28:18(KJV) 18Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.



It points others to the way

Proverbs 22:6(KJV) 6Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.


What are some dangers of missing His way?



We walk in dangerous paths

Proverbs 16:25(KJV) 25There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.



We walk in desolate paths

1 Samuel 8:5(KJV) 5And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.



We walk in distracted paths

Ecclesiastes 11:9(NKJV) 9 Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, And let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth; Walk in the ways of your heart, And in the sight of your eyes; But know that for all these God will bring you into judgment.


How can we better walk in the way?



Perceive His precepts

Psalms 119:1-4(KJV) 1 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. 2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. 3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways. 4 Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.

Psalms 119:15(KJV) 15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.

Psalms 119:40(NKJV) 40 Behold, I long for Your precepts; Revive me in Your righteousness.



Practice His teachings

Proverbs 3:6-7(NKJV) 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil.

Psalms 119:104(NKJV) 104 Through Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way.



Point the way for those around you

Psalms 1:1-6(KJV) 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.




4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Titus 2:1-15(NKJV) 1But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: 2that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience; 3the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things— 4that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,




5to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed. 6Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded, 7in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility, 8sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you.

13looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

14who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. 15Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you. - Titus 2:1-15(NKJV)


If we care more for this world and

things of this world it will show in our life

for others to see.


If we care more for God and His ways, we will walk in His teachings and ways and it will

show for others to see.


If others see we carefor something they will look at it and

ask why is this so good?
